The Best of the Best All Levels Tournament! Starting Season 12
This Tournament will be for any team that desires to enter! I have a few PM's asking to do this! So Here it go's! This will start on season 12 friendlies schedules!
This season, we will accept entries until day -4. if we have 67 teams, only the top 64 will be allowed in. This will be a 16 team bracket. Double elimination. You will have to lose twice to be eliminated. This is not a rankings tournament. It is set up by a random draw of numbers. The luck of the draw! If we have 96 teams there will be six different brackets. However, I don't think we will have that. But we will see. Please feel free to schedule before deadline date posted below This will only move the Tournament faster, and allow winners to play each other from different brackets. For every 32 teams, there will be a bracket..
Schedule of Games
This season, I will have a matchup date. If not played within the day of matchup schedule, The team with no notification at all to me or the forum, will be eliminated. ((This will be strictly enforced.)) Bort gave us a lot of extra Friendlies last season. I noticed the ability to schedule a game within two days most all season long. So leave these dates open Please
1st round games will be played before day Four.
2nd round games will be played before day 8
3rd round will be played before day 12.
4th round games will be played before day 16.
5th round games will be played before day 20
6th round games will be played before day 24.
7th round games before day 28.
8th round games by day 32.
9th round games by day 36.
Championship game on day Forty!
If the game can be scheduled earlier, feel free to do so. Example I see that I can schedule my 3rd round game on day 8. Go ahead and do so if you want. it will only help move the tournament faster.
If You advance to the final Eight in the winners bracket, you will have a six day grace. so the bottom bracket can catch up if you desire.
This Tournament is now set up in a 16 team bracket form. The First teams brackets that finish their brackets first, will be determined the top seeds in the bracket match-ups. This means, that if their are six brackets, the first two team will be the top seeds. As the others will play each other in the scenerio they finish.
During the Tournament, If you Do Not accept and have not posted in the forum that the challenge has or has not been sent or have no explanation as to why you haven't accepted you will be eliminated,((This will be strictly enforced))
With a possible 61 games to play and all the other tournaments. It will have to be moved fast.
In case of a tie, If the game can be scheduled within two days, of the deadline date, it can be replayed. Otherwise, it will be determined by;
--->Posession.
The team that reached the Red Zone the Most. Inside the 20 of the opponent.
If that is tied, it will go to;
--->First Downs.
This will be determined by a team that advances the ball and is rewarded a new set of downs. These are the first downs that will be counted. (Not, after the KO, PR, Fumble, or Int) If a team commits a penalty and it advances the ball to a new set of downs, (1st down). that will be counted as a first down.
If that is tied as well as the posessions

Will be the third tie breaker. This will be determined by the TOTAL NET YARDS in the box score of the match up after the game is played.

Again this is a Double elimination Tournament. You'll have to lose Twice to be eliminated from the tournament. You can come from the Loser Bracket and win it all if you beat the winners bracket champion twice.
This could also cost a lot of Flex points. If you lose your first game, You can still win the tournament, however, it will be about 11 games!
The position you are in now might change. I sometimes shuffle, since this is a luck of the draw schedule. This season, you might currently have a sign up # 93. this does not mean that you will in the third bracket. I will put all numbers in a hat (Bowl) and draw. a #5 might be Playing a # 89 in the first bracket. If Possible, and finished early, we will have some kind of championship between the different brackets.
