Instanteously, the RG engages the LLB (who is behind him) preventing him from making a tackle attempt, then cut blocking him a few ticks later.

You can block someone who is behind you at about 4oclock instantaneously after pancaking someone in front of you?

You can if you have +30% to speed, agility, vision and blocking from Outside Blocker, and +60% to hold block with Downfield Blocker.

I've determined that dots are just 2d representations of spheres. Dots have no front or back. The are just big balloons, that can tip over.

I can recall a post from Bort where he said that you couldn't block someone behind you. My suggestion is that the coding that prevents this is buggy and needs to be looked at.

Or more accurately. My suggestion is that he coded something that may have been working for a while to prevent backwards blocking. But whatever coding he created is not working with the suped up Oline and these VAs.

Ah, ok.

I think there's near instantaneous turning at 0 - low speed, though. The RG wasn't moving really, so he whipped around and crashed into the side of the LOLB.

I mean, I definitely have fits with Outside Blocker myself, don't get me wrong. I just am not sure this is a Bug.

Hmm... maybe it's the captive bolt pistol blocks that should be looked at. You know, where the blocker is coming from behind/the side and suddenly jets into the defender, who is then either cut blocked or jets out at a ridiculous speed.

Looked like one of those.
