I haven't been around long enough to know if the message boards are no holds barred or not.... I would be surprised if GLB condoned your attitude.

I've having a good time with this game. GAME. Dony is doing nothing more than having good natured fun... with good natured ribbing....he's touting his team and calling out other teams..

Text is tough to show tone and true emotions, but JEEZ... chill out , you don't have to reply to EVERYBODY's post.

If you are even a slight bit bothered by his posts... then you need to grow up.

I've been on message boards since Compuserve and AOL, before the Internet took off. If people are getting annoyed then it's usually the MODS/ADMINS job to control it. Like I said earlier, I don't know the policies of this board, so MODS/ADMINS please feel free to PM me to explain what they are.

I'd have to say I agree with most mccollums said. Its ok for you 2 to go back and forth and mess around, just choose your words carefully when it comes to ones that have extreme connotations. Knowing how forums usually works I'll cut you off before your next response, no I'm not gay or anything to that effect. But having friends and employees who are gay, I know that the word you're using so freely is one of the worst you can say, towards a gay person or not.

Basically, the back and forth is entertaining, but don't push the limits into stupidity with your poor word choice.

That's not it at all. A few things going on here.

Freedom of Speech? Don't think that applies to words that are classified as hate speech. I'm not a super sensitive person and I do agree SOME of the politically correct stuff is getting ridiculous. But...GLB is a company that is providing a product and my guess is they want this to be a postiive experience for the people playing the game.
Message boards are a tough thing to police and it requires alot of effort. I've seen many of message boards get ruined and disappear because of stuff like this. Since this message board is part of a game, it's a little different.

People are alot more bold in message boards then face to face. So, on that note I'm gonna go smack talk in one of the other threads.... in a classy way of course.

Very little coming from me is hate speech. I have only made 1-2 personal attacks. Everything I've said as a relation to either the game or the way he talks. I can talk shit, because I actually spell right and most of it's true. You can go tell on me like a 10 year old but in the end, it's just making you look stupid. No one here is going to applaud you because you stop something that has nothing to do with you. For real, you should've just kept your head out of here and minded your own business. Joining in is just making you as guilty as all of us.

What would help you look more intelligent is taking your own advice. My recent posts were responses to DMFDOPE and NAIMOILI's threads.

Dony and I are real life friends and former co-workers. So, we have discussed this board and what's going on. I felt that was good enough reason to get in on this. Maybe you have the same reason ?

Nobody said you were spewing hate speech. Your "1-2" personal attacks... wasn't hate speech. To a point I can understand getting too fired up and typing that stuff...to a point. But if you're worried about someone "telling" on you, then your pretty much admitting to useless/childish behavior.

There's no reason to discuss this anymore. Some of you guys totally misunderstood Dony and his attempt to lightly talk smack and build rivalries.

Enasty, tell your D Coordinator to cover the TE in the playoffs.

I know you weren't referring to me, but I'm sticking up for both of them. No one here except somewhat from DMF, is saying hate speech. I'm all for the trash talk, what would GLB be without it? What would real life be without out? In real life, nothing gets me fired up more at Safety than some guy trash talking, then being able to just wreck him. Or when I'm at QB/WR, juking out a defender is one of the best ways to tell him to go find his jock strap.

As for the D cord. thing, I totally didn't scout and assumed they were a push-over and we got beat. My mistake, but no excuses, they played a good game. Although, I would like to say that is a shitty strategy and I sure as hell know we'll be ready to try and run with the big boys.
