Yea, it would have been...wasting that much cap room on an average NFL QB...lol...

you dont win a superbowl being an average QB. He was clutch

I will grab in in the 3rd round of my fantasy draft tomorrow

Uh what? Brad Johnson and Trent Dilfer both won Super Bowls, he had a clutch playoffs mixed in with a career of underachieving and mediocrity.

I doubt you seriously think Eli is "average." You do have a point with those 2 listed, i will give you that. Eli will have a better career than either of those. The issue they have is lack of receiving options this season.

he is bitter about being a Rams fan. And I am personally staying away from any player on that roster...including Jackson.

jrry, you need some help, I got your back. Give me the word and a fellow Rams fan will call him a derogatory-name-to-be-determined-later.

i apologize for not thinking that 1 playoff makes a guy's career. Oh and I had Roethlisberger in the 10-12 range which is above average.

I seriously think that. 1 season in his career with a QB Rating over 80, 1 season in his career with less than 17 ints(not counting rookie season), 1 season in his career with a 60+% completion %. He's an average QB.

To show you how wrong you are, David Garrard has a better career QB Rating, completion %, YPA and TD to int ratio. Eli is average.

Oh and even when they had receiving options, he did little. It's quite possible they could have good receiving options this season especially if Hakeem Nicks lives up to the hype and his talent.

Marc Bulger has a higher career QB Rating, completion %, YPA and TD to int ratio over Eli. Jackson has been much better than any Giants RB, he has ran for 1000 yards in 4 straight seasons behind a terrible OL. And Atogwe is better than anyone in the Giants secondary.

ok, you draft Bulger and Jackson. I am looking at Jacobs as a better pick than Jackson and would take Eli before Bulger, allthough i am looking at Brady and P. Manning in my fantasy leagues in 2nd or 3rd round

I will happily draft Jackson over Jacobs, won't take Bulger or Eli. Both Jackson and Jacobs have injury problems but the Rams rebuilt their O and OL for Jackson if he stays healthy, he'll likely see 330+ carries and 50-90 catches. Even if he misses 2-4 games, he'll still have around 1000-1100 yards rushing, 400-500 yards receiving and 10-12 total TDs which is better than Jacobs.(Jacobs 15 TDs last season are likely an anomale)

You throw in the NYG stadium, outdoors, with those winds... if you're throwing indoors then your rating, completion %, and all of those other stats better be higher.

I'm not saying Bulger is or isn't better than Eli, but I am saying that those conditions will change anyones stats.

I'm not saying either, I'm saying Eli's numbers reflect an average QB.

Oh yea, you go ahead and take Jacobs over SJax, beautiful move - you can come give your $$ away to me in one of my leagues anytime.
