PWT worked easier because it was only 4 teams in a pool. Each team playing 6 pool games makes scheduling very difficult. Not sure why we didn't just copy pwt format. I'll try to alert the golfer's owner to let him know though

Yeah, this format is pretty ambitious. Unless you are crazy strict about enforcing forfeits all the way through, it has little chance to get done this season, IMO. The PWT's 32-team bracket round typically began around Day 16 and finished around Day 35-39. We had a much looser schedule, but also tried to avoid taking our bracket deep into league playoff time ... and overall, we only had to schedule 127 games from start to finish compared to 255 here.

Good luck with it guys, it'll be interesting to see how the pools shake out.

I agree. This seems unlikely to work.

I read this thread after youngJP said that the lower team numerically was the challenger and since he was the OP I thought that was that. I just came back here to check what was up since we didn't get a challenge yet and now we are already behind schedule. I assumed it was going to be a forfeit (which I was pretty pissed about since it was not my fault) but it looks like we can just schedule it later. So I sent a challenge to Nairobi (our first game) for day 9 and to To the First Point (our second opponent) for day 8.

The Sevastopol Seaman sent our challenge for day 7 @ 20:00 to the Oregon Octopi several days ago and they have yet to accept.

We already have our next 2 games set up though.
08/25/2009 Angola Blood Diamonds at 20:00
08/28/2009 Pa Dong Dragons at 20:00

Also I've already sent a pm to sunshineduck and the owner of the Oregon Octopi, but am still waiting on a reply.
