yeah just because an owner has the same team for a second season doesnt make them any better



I disagree, generally a second year team is going to have an easier time recruiting a more full roster, which most of the time generates success.

I think the exception is still the rule otherwise we wouldnt be seeing so many blowouts in the peewees.

2nd-year PW owners have a HUGE advantage, because they are much more likely to have a roster full of guys made on Day 31, as opposed to acquiring a team on Day 41 or whatever and scrambling around to recruit. You can be the best recruiter in the world and fill your roster nicely but if they're all guys from Day 41 or later you've missed out on a lot of training. Plus you're nearly a full level behind.

The other thing a 2nd-year owner can do is a much better job of planning ahead who builds what, with what goals in mind, etc.

It's POSSIBLE for a 1st-year owner to still do this, if they are extremely well-organized. I've seen it happen.
