1. Keep 15 SP after roll
2. Join d-league team, before their playoffs
3. All equip into stamina
4. Intense train speed/agility
5. When attribute+skill points equals 48, put all SPs into speed
6. From there work on speed/agi/vision to 68/68/60, at level 8 get equipment points into speed

This is basically what slowbuilding is correct? I've never built a player this way so I wanna know if i'm doing it correctly.

Thoughts?

5.1 Before softcapping, train up 90+ % in the attribute you're capping.

6. needs to be corrected:
From there work on speed/agi/vision to 68/68/68, at level 8 get equipment points still into stamina

7. Change gear into speed as you train up stamina later on; don't be afraid to still have stam-gear at lv. 30 if it's that what it takes.

yea, that's exactly what slowbuilding is and what most people do. just train to 90% before adding sp

what that guy said

Just to clarify, when you say "train up 90+ % in the attribute you're capping", you mean to get the green bar around 90% for speed before I put the skill points into it to softcap it?

Also I will take the other advice for sure.

61/61/61 or the 3:1 cap will do just fine.

yes, get to about 90% progress. You "create" a few extra skill points by saving that 90% progress and training later when the cost to increase an attribute by one is higher.

As a quick example, if you trained to 30 with 90% progress and trained again, you'd have 31. Obviously at that level it is a one skill point cost if you were to spend a skill point increasing it from 30 to 31.

If you save that 90% and wait until the attribute is 68, you can easily train one more time to reach 69....which at that level is a 4 skill point cost. Thus "creating" 3 extra skill points.

for a FS, I would go Speed, Vision, and the Agility

so:

1. Speed
2. Vision
3. Agility

To 68. Where would you take these then? What about trying to take as many as you can to 60?

x. Strength
x. Tackling
x. Jumping
x. Catching?
x. Stamina?
x. Confidence?

Get speed to 61
Get vision to 61
Get agility to 61
in that order while training speed/agility... then agility/vision

For a FS... the next is tackling then some stamina

For a SS... the next is tackling then some stamina with strength

Differentiate your safety from then on.

Decide what the final build looks like before starting, then reverse engineer it with the glb virtual player builder. go that route

x. Strength 40 minimum for straight coverage, mid 50s medium, 70 for hard hitter (then get a bit less vision)
x. Tackling 50 minimum for straight coverage, 60 medium, 60+ for hard hitter
x. Jumping 40 minimum for hard hitter, mid 50s medium, 60 for straight coverage
x. Catching? 30 is o.k., more is luxury you can't affort when taking other attributes seriously
x. Stamina? mid 40s minimum, 50 medium, 55+ for faster guys
x. Confidence? not too sure about this one - seems to be small difference beyond 30

Questions answered?

Agility is actually more important than vision, but vision gets you more automatic level gains. That's why you should raise vision after speed, then get back to agility.

When focussing on hard hitting (forcing fumbles), you got to sacrifice some vision in order to raise strength and tackling. 60 vision should work somewhat, if you got proper Super Vision (8+ is a must).

also allows you to do some 'shopping token' training later on. because what you get out of the training isnt important, as long as you get to the 100%

I just want to say. Don't doubt the power of confidence
