Thats one way of looking at it, I personally think the Niners were lucky that we had 4 turnovers and 25 missed tackles.
Two special teams TDs and two missed field goals. You won by 10. That's luck, pure and simple. Bad rolls.
Niners do not give up special teams TDs. You guys didn't do squat on STs the first game. You know why the Niners' Turnover Ratio is +79? Special teams. They have a number of guys focused just on that.
You got a couple lucky tackle rolls or whatever. It happens. One TD would have been bad luck. Two of them was VERY bad luck.
Obviously Minsk is a great team, I'm not saying they aren't. Even with lucky rolls you have to have a great team to win that game, because the Niners did a real nice job gameplanning for it. I'm not really a part of that, I'm not a coordinator for them or anything, I'm just sayin'. I am aware of the plans they had, and they worked pretty good. Your DC (hmm, I guess that's you) also did a nice job gameplanning. So congrats on that, well done.
MMM turnover ratio is 114, and its mostly bc of special teams, the "bad luck" your talking about went both ways. Not saying your guys special teams isn't good, but Id be willing to bet you haven't faced another returner like Uber Charge this season.
