maybe i've just missed it -

but I think there had been a few new testers - and you were giving them a few days to get situated before 'outing' them - so it's been a couple weeks...

have these things been tested and what has the result been?

- QB blind side throw away slow down

- decreased blocker radius for O Line

etc
etc

Sorry I was late getting to this, but all of this stuff has been put in now. The end result, I think, has been pretty good. As mentioned before, 7% of pass plays in USAPL ended in sacks, and things just look better in general. In terms of testing we were just trying different builds and such and making sure that bad OTs vs good DEs gave up sacks and bad DEs vs good OTs didn't, and I think we were all pretty happy with the way it turned out. Also, before the naysayers jump in on what i just said, we tried a range of bad vs good, it wasn't just one bad vs good test and one good vs bad test and called it a day.

We're going to keep watching the preseason games closely and Bort has said that he may make a few more tweaks if we see anything we don't like. I'm pretty happy with it though, to be honest.

Yeah it's been long enough

Cybershot, which shouldn't be a surprise since he's a mod anyways, and Painmaker, a guy who I think we all have a lot of respect for. Neither of them have really hit the testing yet since they were both involved with the playoffs when they were brought in, but I expect to get some good contributions from them this season They've both been posting in the forums though.

awesome!

i don't know much about cybershot - so can't comment there -

but I'm super pumped about the Painmaker selection - he'd have been very, very, very high on my list of "should be testers" (my only experience with him is through reading his forum posts - so I'd consider myself pretty impartial).

I agree. Painmaker is a very good agent and a guy I have a lot of respect for.

New Looking Ahead posted.
