I'm not even sure you need it - but would be possible to get permission to post this (and updates) in the GLB forum instead of here in the bug/tester sub section??

I'm shocked that you're getting so few replies here - and believe it must be attributed to the location of this forum (BFE)-

And - I don't want the fact that you've only gotten 10 or 15 replies so far to discourage you from keeping it up.


Personally - I think the best thing would be to sticky this in GLB - and then when you write a new one next week - unsticky the old one; sticky the new one...


I recognize that you would almost certainly be the target of many posts there - from people who are just bored and looking to flame so that they can feel better about themselves - but still think all in all it would be worth it to post it in GLB

Yes, that's all we need. The ignorant masses having this thread jump out at them so they can spew their venom. Those that really care visit this thread regularly. The contributors are generally civil and collaborative.

i agree you put a large target on your back by throwing it up on GLB - but at the same time - I don't want r8 to get discouraged that there isn't more discussion going on this - 53 hours and only 18 replies (several by me)

You guys don't have to worry about me being discouraged I'm just a busy guy so I sometimes forget stuff like this, hence the note to PM me if there isn't anything by June 7th

And I do agree that it should be posted in the GLB Main, as I used to post my test results there, because like you said, more people will see it.

HOWEVER, rockitsauce also makes a good point that the discussions here are usually pretty damn good, and not full of flaming and "FREE/BAN _____ IMO" type crap. As long as the information is here, and people know where to find it, that should be good enough.

I have spoken with Pallow/Bort before about possibly getting the whole Test Results section moved to be a sub-forum of the main GLB forum, though, to increase visibility.

The bugs sub-forums have by-and-large been solid for a long time, although I think we did have to roit once or twice in the early days.

Anyway, great work, this is my fave area to actually discuss and learn about the game.

There's a bunch of new design stuff coming out as well. They're in the process of uploading it all on the test server to check it out and look for problems. I'm not sure what the timeframe is for getting it on the live server as it isn't all quite finished, and some of it still needs some tweaking to make it look cleaner, but I can tell you guys that it is some pretty damn cool stuff

Any idea on the timeframe of when it will be live?

GM title should be changed to one only and the new title for unlimited personnel should be Player.
