1. He's just going to retire the players anyway(he said so himself)
2. We would be out the players either way if cut or benched... so why cut?
3. Reguaradless of how he sets his sliders, he could be used on ST better than a CPU or any other level 1 guy we could recruit.
The only benefit from cutting the players now is getting his flex back... which he can do freely in 20 days.

After fielding responses from team mates I posted the following in our team forum:
It's obvious that the overwhelming response from the agents here is to think about the team first. Or rather they do not wish to see a chemistry hit taken.
We are not costing RMD money by benching his players. So long as he doesn't boost them, he will get the same amount of FP that he put into them when he retires them. Benching players is not something that I ever wanted to do, but RMD's actions left me with little choice.
Upon reviewing the first 9 games, I believe that RMDs players were playing with Player Intensity set at Relaxed or Normal.
His players played more snaps then players in the same position and finished with more energy.
Unless RMD has a compelling argument to sway my decision, his players will be used on ST only if needed. They will be wiped off the team with everyone else at the end of the season.
