But if you compare apples to apples, there are lots of "convenience" suggestions to make less work and they don't get any attention except negative ones if its a mod and then it never sees Epic after that.

How about trying DC less teams = less work, or go casual or get lost and stop whining about too much work to make a new gameplan! Theres a negative counter-suggestion, why did the mods not come up with this defence against a convenience suggestion....

And the argument against convenience is?

Each agent, once appointed to a GM position (with access to DAI/OAI), should be able to save any playbook to his/her own account so that if he/she becomes OC or DC for another team then they can just upload a ready-made playbook.

I think also that the owner of each playbook should have an option to let the team have the playbook after they leave as GM or take it away. If you DC a team that treats you well and you just have no time to DC anymore, you could leave the playbook, or if the team treats you like crap after you do a heap of work, then you can take your playbook and make them start over.

I completely agree. Adding the custom D creator to the profile page would do wonders and then associating what's in the profile page to the team you manage the defense for.

Then it's just like working with the AI, only without the inputs. Just search and select.

or if you can save plays allow it to be saved to someones comp and they could then upload it to another team. At least for the base AI (maybe not the custom plays)

Seriously. Please do not let this go live without some sort of export/transfer feature. It will be a nightmare for anyone who DCs more than one team.

took me 10 minutes to copy one play from one team to the other. I had to move 4 different plays and have like 10 to go. This would be great, and I suggetsed this before.

Please do not overlook this because there is now a greasemonky script for it. That does not eliminate the necessity for this to be implemented.

Any word on this happening, this would make life alot easier. Should have the playbooks/DPC/AI tied to the DC/GM not to the team.

Its not that we who support the idea are lazy, it's just something that should have been here since the introduction of AI creators. Every website that has the sort of concept that GLB does, like managing teams, organizations, etc., should be "user-friendly". This idea would help progress this for GLB.

AI Should be user account specific not team. That way you can hire a AI guy and he can just bring is playbook in and setup it up with ease. While also operating on multiple teams.

So maybe the idea should be expanded upon, and not just have the DPC plays transferable (Like in the OP) but the whole AI/Playbooks for both the offense and defense and make them belong to the agent, not the team.

Is this really that difficult to set up?

A few seasons ago I got talked into DCing for a team - I searched for Greasemonkey Scripts to help transfer my DAI and plays over to the new team. Even with the help from the scripts it took me 12 hours...

It must be possible to have the AIs (OAI/DAI) being saved to the agent ID instead of the team ID. When an agent gets hired as a DC it should the be possible to press one button and the AI is assigned to the team.

Has this been added to the NGTH-list since this thread died?
