Yes it sucks if you get deployed for your 'dots' career but come on, im X military and there is no way when I got deployed did I ever think 'damn what is going to happen to my MMO's characters' there are WAY more important things on your mind when you are deployed to a war zone.

true, but as this being only a simulation its quite easy to forgo the "age" thing because it really has no bearing if he's not getting better. and yes there are many more important things, but why make someone essentially quit theres always a better solution for bort than losing customers

so... just because they aren't currently paying has no bearing on whether they have, or if they will once they come back? either way they are still a customer whether past present or future

Get out of the reserves and join the Navy we have computers and internet while we're deployed

The only question you have to ask yourself is can this be exploited? The answer is clearly no because you get no benefits when your player is froze. You don't get money, experience, and you don't age. So it only serves a good cause with no negative side effects. My suggestion would be that if you want to take advantage of this there would have to be a minimum and maximum amount of time your guy can be froze.

make it to where you cant freeze one player, you have to freeze the whole account, that way they would not benefit by maybe holding a player in time while they level others to play with him... all players are frozen

well i have a player on my team (Scott Sinn) he became one of the best WRs in the league and he went to the marines.

The problem is bort isn't going to let me hand over my password to a good friend and let him manage my account while im away... if we were allowed to then this wouldn't be an issue as the players would continue to be active and not be wasted

Exactly as long as your whole account is frozen there is nothing negative about this suggestion.

And make it so if you freeze your account, you have to freeze it for 1 month, or 6 months exactly, and be teamless, so people can not take advantage of this in any way.
