this is a good idea but it might turn GLB to a different game because than your team is going to have to stop the QB Rush, RB rush. and the pass which would be harder for d cordinators . And right now the zone defense isnt so affective so it wouldnt work id say right now

Defensive Coordinator will have to learn to cope. This is how football is played.

A more detailed suggestion for the 2nd scramble option would be:
- When scrambling, allways go outside the pocket to make a pass
- When scrambling, go outside the pocket to make a pass, but check for possible run options
- When scrambling, check for pass options and run options
- When scrambling, try to go for the run, but check for possible pass options
- when scrambling, allways go for the run

Finally a have a friend who seems to actually know what a scrambling QB is.

Do it! PLEASE! FINALLY DO IT!

Well I'm happy to see this response, just another slight thought.

Whenever you see a hurry, you know the QB is aware of the incoming defender. He passed his vision check, why not, even if these suggestions are not implemented, have a qb that's allowing scrambles try to run away from the incoming defender? He noticed the threat, the direction it is coming, those set to "almost never scramble" would throw the ball away OR try a risky pass while those on scramble often would simply move away from the pocket to try and give the WRs/HB/TE a few more seconds to shake their cover loose.

here's a play that we all want more of...
you can tell when he decided to tuck and run.

I like that aspect much better then the designed play of a run they do most of the time.

+1 for this thread as it will make this happen more often then not.
