it was brought up about with bort changing things towards realism that cruise control would be unrealistic as what team allows another team to get back into the game.
prokop as for you i'm not sure where you stand as you started calling it a fail because you loved it then started to support it .maybe homsar talked you around i'm not sure or are you just giving it a bump occasionally

i do like it. cruise control is useless/ blowouts come from pro teams facing shit teams.

I think he just hates cruise control. To clarify, I like it but I think it works about as well as Support currently does, and it should be ramped up.

for what it was designed to do and that was protect players energy it's useless now all it does is limits stats and changes some games that it shouldn't.it also plays merry hell for gm/owners to scout ,plan against more equal competition.
as an owner of a rebuild team it also lulls the less experienced players into believeing they have a star of the future when they are on par with the rest of their lvl

IMO, cruise control should a) not kick in until you're up about 40 points, and once it dips below a 40 point differential, it should be turned off. Also, it should have a MUCH higher effect the more you get off. But there should be a floor to it.

but does it, and when it does, does it replace the moral of the team during the sim for being score against or for dropping passes

i agree but untill it discussed and one of the mods takes notice nothing will be done about it either way ,i'm not against it slowing the offence down but being scored on because of it makes my blood boil

It should not even exist. Forcing "realistic" numbers by changing the very abilities of the players that we paid money to build is one of the most shortsighted stopgap solutions Bort has ever come up with.

we held the best Quarterback in the league to 1 touchdown. We held one of the best teams in the league with said quarterback to 35 points. Then we play THIS level 16 team and give up 7 touchdowns to a level 16 qb, and 84 points to a team who's average level is 16.
