Cruise control keeps games from ending 524706874236-0 and puts some sort of cap on the ridiculous stats you can put up against gutted / low level teams. I'd actually like to see it replaced with teams taking a knee after taking a 70-0 lead or so.. but good luck getting that by the player base.

its obvious that cruise is best for everyone...hopefully this get enough attention where bort puts it up for a glb wide vote

No, it won't. The lower-level team will lose energy faster than the higher-level team anyway, and eventually, they'll both hit the lower energy cap. The relative skill ability will still favor the higher-level team at all times.

not exactly hobo the point is to remove it from most leagues leaving it only in the bottom tier? or this happens which isn't realistic

in this new system bort has set up tho only the lower tier leagues would need it , where the higher tier leagues it just bring heartache as there should be at most 1-2 gutted/slow build teams and after a couple of season those teams would be passed back to the lower teirs, after that only the strongest would level up

So, let me get this straight.
1) In bottom-tier leagues, this change wouldn't happen.
2) In higher-tier leagues, it's not a problem because there aren't (m)any lopsided scores.
So, why exactly does this need to happen?

As an owner and co-ordinator im very much against cruise control. Not because i wanna win with 400 points or whatever but playing in lowest level tier gives me nothing to work with. This season we got 2 hard games and 2 semi-hard games. The rest is going to be huge blow out games. I wanna win those 4 games thats going to matter but getting a playbook together that works before playing those teams is impossible. I get 1 quarter of real football to look at and adjust and then 3 quarters of jogging players, so i got no idea if the blitzes are screwed, the player builds are screwed or if they are just having a field trip out there.
I'd like more than 1 quarter of commitment per game... Atleast playing a backup player should increase power from his side as he got something to prove to the coach, or something like that.

Instead of cruise control, only playing backups is an option too, helps their stats, and it is what a lot of college/nfl teams do when the game is out of reach (Unless you are the Steelers trying to injure your quarterback)
Just increase cruise control to 40 or 50 points. Or alternatively make cruise control only come into effect for starters at 40-50 points.

Cruise Control doesn't kick in until you're 60 up
