idea sparked from this thread. http://goallineblitz.com/game/forum_thread.pl?thread_id=1780798 . what is the point of having 5 Flex Points? am i gonna buy 20 flex points? no. so why cant i put that in a team Flex Point bank in which other players can donate. the flex points donated CAN ONLY GO TO FRIENDLIES . nothing else. i dont see why not. would give players who dont own a team more of a reason to buy Flex Points if anything.

well, im thinkin, if everyone on the team donates 1 FP, theres what, say you have 32 people on your team, 1.28 of friendlies. if everyone gets 2 FP 2.56 flex points. here ill make a chart

well you see where this is going. this is assuming everyone takes part in it. i know some wont, but some will go more than this. and how many friendlies do you really need. 1-6 probably?
this again is for 32 players. most teams have at least 40-44

a time limit is good, but i do see the problem of an owner just massing in flex points (im saying like.. 40 players....) so i guess it would have to be monitored by support on a mass account per day creation.

I would not do this but there are owners that would. If there weren't owners like this, we would not have so many owner bashing threads.

Another thing is owners might start just signing FAs that say they will donate. Then bench them when they don't.

Those are just the two ways this could be abused IMO off the top of my head.

Good points. There would have to be official rules made about no bribery/blackmail/whatever. Just another annoying thing to watch over.

In a perfect world the suggestion is good, but in GLB I don't know if it would be worth the hassle.

mods wouldnt really have to watch over, an agent that is being threatened to give FP's would PM a mod, the mod then could look into the case, and bam, caught/ban owner

I know a couple users have retired all players just so they can play PeeWee leagues. They could still buy and donate to their teams they GM.

owner would have to have some sort of history to show he has been in the game a while. if he is caught just starting and donating FPs (im sure new comers wont know exactly what this is) then a ban is available for him.

There are still ways around it, but would definitely make it harder... and any cop will say, it's almost impossible to completely prevent crime, the idea is to make it harder for the crime to occur.
