Yeah less is more, I wouldn't want more DC's.

With 5 LB DCs we currently have you could set everything up pretty well, change the names of these positions to something like the WR/CB ones, so you have LB1 LB2 LB3 LB4 LB5

Then somewhere in depth chart or AI have the following
3-4: dropbox#1 dropbox#2 dropbox#3 dropbox#4
4-3: dropbox#1 dropbox#2 dropbox#3
4-2: dropbox#1 dropbox#2
3-2: dropbox#1 dropbox#2
4-1: dropbox#1
ETC...

Each drop down box would have LB1 thru LB5, you could then designate which LB set you would want filling in each formation.

Then there's a master tab, where it shows all positions for all formations. Where if you add a player it adds him to all the formations if applicable.

It doesn't really address/solve the problem I'm talking about. I know how I will do the separate DC interface. It could even allow custom ones for multiple looks per formation, that could be loaded via the advanced AI.

The problem that adds annoyance to updating DC's:

Take the position MLB. It exists in every formation. Let's say my default DC says:

MLB
Bob
Jim
Fred

I make a custom override on MLB for Nickel formations to:

Nickel MLB
Jim
Fred
Bill

Now I add another LB to my squad, Jerry. When I add Jerry to my default depth chart, I also want him added to the other depth charts at MLB, without having to go through every single one. Where does it add him? How do I do it?

Would it be possible when creating the custom depth chart to have an option for each position to "use global depth chart"?
That would take care of getting Jerry into MLB in each Preset where the feature was in use...maybe when you add him to the global and update it would automatically update all Presets that have "use global depth chart" specified or it would load an hour before the game or something.

You'd still have to add him manually for the Presets where it isn't in use, or somehow have the ability to call up a Preset, add him and then apply the changes for that position to a selectable group of Presets...
