There are a couple other threads of people supporting this. Can they be merged so that Bort can see how many people care about this?

It would also be cool if you could mouseover the colored flag & it would display some text. Like the player is "committed" to "Team A", etc.

I like that idea actually. Perhaps you could add not just that you were committed to ... But also something similiar too "Looking For a AAA Team SP and Eq Support' Type of thing.

It is really an indirect extension of the market place.

It will also help team owners organize who they are recruiting...say an agent on 1 or you teams has 20 players and says "these 5 are available". The owner could say "I want player #3" and if the agent agrees he flags his player and commits to the team. Of course it wouldn't be "binding" but at least them 2 weeks later the agent / owner would have something to help remind them that the player is committed to the team. We've had that same situation then the agent is like "who did you want?" "Oh crap I committed him to another team"..!

I don't know if it's worded that well but hopefully makes sense.

I understand what you are saying. I do like the suggestion/idea. The ability to, as an agent, flag your player and be able to write a short sentence on the status of him, and it should be easily viewable on the homepage of the player so that it only takes a second to see it. Statuses could be as simple as:

Signed with [team] through [day] [season]
FA - Looking for [league] in [level] wanting [cash] + [AEQ] for starting [position]
Signed - Backup SS
or just some simple market relevant notes.

I likey xD

Oh please Oh Please

Solution would be to have a checkbox on the player profile page and if it's checked and somebody hits offer contract it goes to a page that says "sorry, but this player is not accepting contract offers at this time"
