As an owner and a gm I would agree with making a player trade approval part of the no trade clause cuz that is how it is done in real life. Plus now its still one option, if the player doesn't want to go he doesn't have to, and if there comes a situation where you want to trade someone with the no trade you don't have to go through signing the new contract. I know it's not a big deal to do that but still.

Here's the problem...you can always breach a contract, except in GLB.

Yes. The original suggestion brings up a valid point, and this change needs to be made.

That's fine too. Don't really care, tbh. I guess the only benefit a no-trade would have as opposed to this would be that people wouldn't be able to offer for players you don't want them to with the no-trade and would with the player option.
