tl;dr

Some of the idea definitely needs tweaking, but I am definitely for more customization of the characters. There's only a slight change in players from team to team. Customization would create more revenue for the game and more options for the player. Granted, there are other things that I think are priority over this, and most of those include the SIM. If this were to happen, it would cause more problems with the SIM and we already have enough. If you change something this drastically the GLB world would implode. Bort and his cronies are having to spend enough time fixing 1 or 2 minor things a season. Implement something like this and we might as well call this GLB Alpha again. Getting this game out of beta is the main goal. Fix the structure and process, then add to the structure and process. Great suggestion and I will bump this along with a couple other Epic threads that have been in the Graveyard....err I mean Epic Suggestion list.

Well, some of these were done (or things close to them) like archetypes and the customizable SA tree. Some of the other things are either obsolete or wouldn't be feasible given the momentum the game has had over the past two years...
