My owner isn't going to play me as a CB - I'm purely going to be a kick returner, period. Is vision still worth getting?

From what I've read, no. Of course, I wouldn't believe everything I read on here. Get your speed/agility really high, and maybe just train your vision up.

Of course it is.. you need to be able to see down field and where to make cuts.. Vision makes sense on KR/PR..

In the corner forum, there's a dude who started a KR private forum. I recommend you ask him for an invite, the guys there would know.

You need to think of your player's LONG TERM development and not just your current owner.
Do you want to be a kick returner your whole career? At early levels you should be most interested in power building your player for later.
If you are planning to ever play CB, then high vision will be needed also.

Broke or not, vision will be important for any KR/PR.
Speed
Agility
Vision
in this order........You would want to train strength and carrying to break a possible tackle once in a while. That BKTK could mean a TD

Short term: vision is broken , not recommended to get it over 20-30 .
Long term: softcap it , it will be fixed and when that day comes it will be useful , both as returner and as a CB .
Just my two cents .

Important? Yes. But don't work on it.
Open your build first of.
Most important things for returning:
1) Good blocking
3) Speed
5) Agility
6) Quick Cut/First Step
7) Vision
8) CARRYING (Train it)
