Warrior General Games

It was pretty simple how I calculated these... I took position from last power poll of last year and current roster strength (which obviously will change as teams boost and/or level up) as of the time of me doing this. Position from last power poll was worth 60% of the score, current roster strength 40%. For the new teams, I took the champion and put them 5th and the runner up I put 10th and adjusted the teams accordingly.

Thanks for the work....but seeing as how the Invaders, at 7 LW took the Alpha Championship, and have returned all of our players as well as some great new additions, who beat the #2 and #3 are only #4?

Like I said, I used the final regular season power rankings (playoffs had no bearing on these rankings), which had a big effect on where the Invaders finished (you'll notice they did jump three spots from 7 to 4). Your roster strength was #1. I wouldn't worry about it too much, it'll sort itself out in the first couple weeks.

Doesnt look like you have improved ur team much during the off season. Why not give him your evidence as to why you should be higher?

Don't mind starting low in the projections, I'm sure our late season losing skid had a LOT to do with it. Our team is improving though and we'll be on the way up!

You have to work for ESPN with power rankings this bad, or is that you Peter King?

Honestly I use a very objective system to remove any biases. It's pure number crunching. Like it or hate it, it's based purely on how your team has done in the past, it's current W-L record, point differential, recent 4 game play, and strength of roster. It's not an "opinion" power rankings... War Eagle does that (and a good job at that).

New Jersey you dropped down so much because your roster strength actually decreased in the offseason.

I like the rankings its pretty fair I think. Gives the Warriors something to look forward to. We had a bad ranking last year but have added depth and competitve players. We'll be moving up the boards in a hurry.
