you know, IRL and especially the NFL. Runningbacks get benched if they aren't good pass blockers and picking up blitzes, fwiw. Maybe do something with that and people can make a RB with blocking and vision so they can pick up blitzes, add a SA or VA that works for it.

It's NGTH. Get over it. O is already over-powered and the "exploits" that an OPC would create are just laughable. See ya.

How can you exploit anything with all the plays made for you...? That makes no logical sense. Sounds like it's just your opinion..

I was considering spending some cash on this game at the end of the season, but I think I'll be purchasing beer and watching football instead.

EDIT: Who am I kidding? Of course I will....

LB free movement causes as many or more issues then DL free movement.

What we've been talking about is this:

3 alignments for the DL: Strong/Middle/Weak
9 possible alignments for the LB'ers: Strong/Middle/Weak + Shallow/Medium/Deep
Secondary: Dragable box smaller but have presets that go in logical spots that are outside of the box

imo, LB's should be allowed to move like secondaries if they're assignment precludes blitzing.

Also, Secondaries should be limited similarly to linebackers if their assignment is or allows blitzing.

I agree with this.

D-line can have discrete set up positions, that makes sense.

You can have a whole second row of positions where you can assign players to blitz from pre-determined spots (making blitzing very regulated).

But a player who does not have a blitz assignment as either a primary or secondary fucntion ought to have very free movement...this allows all sorts of defenses that utilize zones, half-zones, and double coverage on certain spots.

Makes a ton of sense to me.... retains the ability for DCs to be creative and use non-traditional builds in interesting ways, and still provides plenty of ammunition to control "exploit" blitzing.

Thanks Halo, I saw one bug posted. Looks like players are just too fast. Those same schemes would not work in pee wee. Might put pressure on the QB and make a bad pass but most teams would scout that defense and just run a Single back slam or to the other side all game long.

I am sick of this guy supplying so much common sense to this game. We are going to have a perfect sim if he keeps this up.

agreed. Remove the DPC.

10 people whining is not a reason to not make a change that benefits everybody in the long run.

sorry bro, but that is your opinion.

OTs dropping back to protect and create pocket is all we need. Thats how it works 100% of the time with offensive lines in Casual Pro, why is Regular league pass protect so bad?
