The offensive sets can be flipped for some of these right? Or will for example, two WRs be on the left side of the formation in Single Back?

I'm just asking because I want to shift my LBs if it's always set to a specific side.

You'll just be shifting to the strong or weak sides (not left or right), so even if they do flip, your shift won't be thrown off - it'll still react to the formation.

I choose max blitz of 1 and assign percentage blitz chances to several players. Does it check each one until it gets a hit then stop? If so, in what order does it check? I would think that is checks in the order the players are listed, but it might also check from greatest to least.

I think it works like this ... if, for example, you list four players as possible blitzers, it'll just look at those four and "roll" to see which one blitzes. The ones with a higher percentage stand a better chance to have their name called more often.

I kind of wish LOLB and ROLB were SOLB and WOLB. It's kind of hard to have a play with a strong side blitz (SILB and SOLB) when you can only pick the left or right LB's, which is sometimes weak side.

I don't know that offensive formations will "flip" - haven't read anything official that said they will. I'd imagine that once flipping enters the game (if it ever does), the LB's would be re-named to strong/weak and would be aligned according to the offense's strength.

?

How long have you been playing GLB?

... and still didn't notice, that GLB has the strong side always to the right?

(offenses right, defenses left)

That's why there is mostly rushing to the right; it's just rushing to the strongside.

So especially for you:

LOLB = SOLB
ROLB = WOLB
LILB = SILB
RILB = WILB

(haven't you ever wondered why the TE is always lined up right and why the strong side safety [SS] always plays on defensive left side?)

You can have that by now:

Just put a mirror right in the middle of your screen. Enjoy!

(that's why GLB has the strongside to the right all the time; it's just a "switching sides" for each and every player)

Ok, here's a question for whoever can answer it (I scanned through here and I didn't see it so I hope it wasn't answered already), but:

When choosing the distances for the "yards to first down" option, if I put in 11-7, would that be between 11-7 meaning 10 through 8 or does it include 11 and 7 for the yards to first down option?

It says between, but I want to be sure I completely understand that so that I can cover all possibilities that my defense will run into.

Ok, so, in a 3-4, 1nt and 2 de, can the de be swapped out? if so, is there a big penalty for using dt?
I am gearing towards the 3-4, but, this is what I was looking at doing, please tell me if this is completely messed up

1 nt, 2 dt, 2 mlb, 2 de or 2 olb. I read bort had said that the penalty of a De playing olb was not very big of a deal, so it would be the same?

Dang I should have asked all of this before i went full bore into recruiting.

Anyone know if we will be able to see if plays entered in the adv AI are being used, so we can watch the play unfold to see how effective it is. Will webe able to watch the play by play and tell which plays are from adv AI?

Good gawd... I must be exhausted for not being able to find this, but I'll post anyway...

If you're doing defensive AI.... ball position.

If you want to say "use this anywhere except for red zone defense", that would be between "Opponent Goal" to "My 20" right ?

The only reason why I'm doublechecking is because the drop down items on defensive AI are sort of in the wrong order from what I expected. I just figured I'd check that when they're at your goal line, that's "My Goal Line"

hey if anyone could answer this for me it would be great.

If I have two inputs - for goal line D, one is from own goal and own 5, another is from own 5 and own 10....if the ball is on the 5, which input does it go to?

Now you might say to do the first to end on 5 and the other to start at 6, but if you look at the play-by-play's sometimes it says the ball is on th x.5, so there would be no input for the ball being on the 5.5 yard mark.
