Can I get a refund on the SAs I used to get power thru to 8 naturally...Because now i am just going to have to get power thru AEQ for the swap.

I don't get why the nerf if there is an opposing piece
Break Tackle --> Make Tackle
Hold Block --> Break Block
Fake Chance --> Avoid Fake Chance
It seems like these are the ones that are being targeted for "exploit" reasons.
How about changing the baseline code, or Improving SAs? Why is the AEQ nerf the first option? If Break Tackle % is an issue, buff Make Tackle coding, or Tackle attribute. If BB % is OP, buff Pass Block SA mechanics, or Blocking attribute. Then of course there's the new super secret special SAs that haven't even been invented (or at least announced or discussed) yet.
Give the players a positive reason to alter their tactics instead of just ripping the rug out from under them.
Buffs are better for PR than just swinging the nerf bat at every issue that comes along.

I actually think that VAs are the thing that makes stacking more powerful.
What does bruiser, SYM and shed weight give you as a multiplier when in a situation where they are all working (behind the LOS).
If VAs can't be stacked...I am done with the game. I feel like my money has been wasted for 7 seasons for my rushing FB.

AEQ should just be gotten rid of, and the sim should work at a baseline where you dont need 70%+ fake chance to fake someone.

why are we changing things that actually are fun and make the game interesting. Too many people with extreme builds playing too well for the average player? Why does my power back have to sacrifice %50 of his 2nd break tackle % piece. makes no sense. If you have all reg equipment the second piece with speed in it doesn't give you .5 speed. Why the same with my %. Lame game fix when there are much bigger issues. Really glad that I have only used retired players for flex instead of spending hard earned cash.

Are the diminishing returns on SAs going to back off at least?
Like... because of the way the current system is players invested SPs to raise a Special Ability up to say 8--because they could get % pieces.
Now with this change, players are apparently being force to invest more in SAs through AEQ. So, if players are going to have AEQ with +7 to an SA, then it now make no sense to raise the associated SA above a natural 3. All the SPs used to raise a SA above that are wasted.
Unless of course the diminishing returns point gets back off.
That way SAs will stay valuable up to say 15 or 20, before DR kicks in.

this is all @political correctness..the fairness doctrine..redistribution of power here..take from the good players, the guys who actually take the time to figure out how to b successful, and give to the lazy part time/just want to do something guys.. reward mediocrity and punish diligence, patience, and hard work..im just @ready to quit this game altogether..

This is stupid. +% AE is the best. Once you realize that, it takes no skill, ability, or even choice to select it for your player. Simply put, in order for bort to make it so players with 2 pieces of +% AE don't fake everyone or break every tackle, he makes fakes and broken tackles tougher to do, which hurts the sim in general and makes it unplayable for those without the %AE.
It adds nothing to the game, and this nerf isn't enough tbh.

Btw, people who are crying because they'll have 13 in a SA really need to let it go as 13>10 and you can choose different AE. Everyone else needs to stop acting like they had this amazing build plan for having 2 pieces of +% AE and now their build is ruined.
Furthermore, again, unless something more is changed this change does nothing, and every player in the game at OL/DL/HB/QB/CB/LB/S should still have 2 pieces of +% AE for +30%. No reason to cry, as your +% AE is still the best 2 pieces...

MAKING PEOPLE HAVE DIFFERENT TYPES OF AE ON A DOT JUST MAKE THIS GAME MORE COOKIE CUTTER. YOU SHOULD INCREASE DIVERSITY BY LETTING US GET ALL OUR AES IN ONE THING.

ffs... It is impossible to have a balanced code which is fair to both players with +46% break tackle chance (a 46% boost to EVERY break tackle roll) and a guy who doesn't have that AE. DUCY?
