I don't know about everyone else, but I am about as set up as one can be. lol
On another note, my QB's should be ready to start running come playoff time.

Scrimmaging Mason's later tonight - I'll let you know how that passing looks...I don't have a real good feeling.

A little shake-up in my rankings this week as my previous #2 went down and went down badly (courtesy of my team).
BADGERS TOP EIGHT - WESTERN CONFERENCE
1. Minnesota Junk Mailers (6-0) - May have been reading their own press clippings. Took a strong fourth quarter to pull away from Sons (don't think we didn't notice you testing your passing game - for the record I was 4/5 in my scrimmage!!!!)
2. Tehran Twelvers 5-1 - 12vers bounced back from their week five loss with a tough win over the Wave. They move up due to the Titans loss but their still looking up at the Junk Mailers who previously took them to the wood shed.
3. Dallas Badgers (5-1) - Had the game of the week honors for week five and won 87-20 (finally got around to upgrading my Lv 16 gear). Some solid opponents are coming up and RRR is on the horizon - the Badgers will need to continue their winning ways to keep RRR off their heels in the rankings.
4. Red River Rampage (5-1) - Nothing new to report for the week as RRR ripped the Aggies 238-0. It was expected and the Badgers jumped over them this week (one because I write them and two the Badgers beat the previouys #2).
5. JetNation Titans (5-1) - The Titans were like Kirghiz's prom date - ugly (sorry buddy - you know I am joking around - or am I?). The Titans will get to beat up on UH OH before they get a shot at MJM and some redemption.
6. West Lawn Bulldogs (5-1) - Bulldogs bounced back from their week four loss to put a beating on UH OH. Will get a shot at the best as they face the MJM's this week...good luck (you'll need it).
7. Darwin Desert Dingoes (4-2) - I've held off keeping these guys out of the rankings - due to the fact CableJelly is one of their GM's. Anyone associated with this guy has to be a bunch of low lifes. Triple D's schedule closing out the year looks rough - they just need to beat those below them and take the beatings against the big boys.
8. Hull Spartans (4-2) - Big time loss to the Lions which may not be really felt until the end of the season when tie-breakers are decided for the playoffs (this team loses nine out of 10 to close the season - book it (I know, reality is a bitch sometimes but that's how I see it playing out).
On The Fringe
-New Jersey Lions: They clawed out a big win over Hull but need to piece together some more wins to get their record over .500 and a win over Triple D will get them in the rankings next week.
-Baguio City White Lady: Been somewhat of a roller coaster ride in getting to 3-3. With the Twelvers next it will be an uphill battle getting above .500.
-Generation X The Prodigal Son: Played MJM tough losing by 16 - they'll face the Wave next to determine if they'll stay here or not.
-Baltimore Crimewave: No clue what to say on this team being at 2-4. They continue to surprise me with their inability to win games. Tough schedule aside (Mickelson's, Badgers, Twelvers and MJM - a combined record of 22-2)...they'll need to win some ball games in their next six or I'll officially have to write them off.
WEEK 6 - PREDICTIONS:
Generation X The Prodigal Son vs. Baltimore Crimewave It's about time the Wave bucked up and played some dot ball. As a previous post last week called them "the best 2-4 casual team in GLB." Time to fill the jail and it will start with the Prodigal Son in a fairly close game before the Wave pulls away late for a two plus score W.
JetNation Titans vs. UH OH Squad Titans get to lick their wounds as they get a layup against UH OH. They better heal quickly with MJM coming up next week - Titans in a 50 plus point W here.
Hull Spartans vs. Dallas Badgers I thought Hull was a little stronger than they were and that loss to the Lions proved otherwise. Simply not going to be able to keep up on the scoreboard with the Badgers.
Red River Rampage vs. The Glorious 55 This one will be ugly and it will happen rather quickly...don't worry 55, RRR will snap the spinal cord early so you won't feel a thing...RRR lays a beating down.
Baguio City White Lady vs. Tehran Twelvers The White Ladies are not quite there yet and they won't be able to contain the Twelver O. It won't be to fugly but Tehran will still route them.
West Lawn Bulldogs vs. Minnesota Junk Mailers West Lawn just doesn't have the horses in the stable to compete with MJM for four quarters - probably not one but I have to make these sound interesting for my beloved readers (I think only one person reads these - glad I'm not on commission).
Bay Area Bulls vs. Texas Aggies This game represents two-thirds of the non-winning (does that sound politically correct...better than losers I guess) teams in the conference. I could flip a coin but I do think the Bulls O will be a bit much for the Aggies D. Chalk up the first W of the season for the Bulls - congrats...I'll shoot off a party popper for you.
GAME OF THE WEEK: Darwin Desert Dingoes vs. New Jersey Lions
The two teams are trying to make a name for themselves and in the big picture of making the playoffs this will be a huge game (I know, early but both have tough schedules closing the season) toward making the playoffs. Triple D has taken care of business and have beat the teams they were supposed to win. The Lions roar is starting to be a bit louder as they are looking solid coming off a big W over Hull. I see Triple D scoring late to get the W here as they beat another team they should.
PREDICTION RECORD:
Week 5: 8-0
Week 6: 7-1 (thanks Hull)
TOTAL: 15-1

I was screwing around against a team I knew we'd beat. Almost screwed around and lost.

A little pressed for time this morning as we have some inclement weather here in Dallas and I am thinking about braving the weather and heading into the office.
BADGER'S WEEKLY WESTERN REVIEW:
Nearly to the half way point of a solid season and a strong showing in the GLB tourney by the West.
POWER RANKINGS:
1..Minnesota Junk Mailers - Had a tough first half against the Bulldogs but dominated the 2nd half for a convincing win.
2..Dallas Badgers - struggled a bit against Hull and really need a better defensive effort on the season.
3..Tehran Twelvers - Coasted to a 22 point W but gave up 44. Like Dallas the D needs to step it up a bit.
4..Red River Rampage - RRR has three straight shutouts and not much resistence in their last four.
5..JetNation Titans - Bounced back with a W over UH OH and face a tough test this week.
6..West Lawn Bulldogs - Came out swinging v. MJM and went down in the fetal position as a poor 2nd half killed the upset bid.
7..Darwin Desert Dingoes - Got a nice W over the Lions but face a bigger roar this week.
8..Hull Spartans - Played well against the Badgers and should get an easy W against UH OH before a tough stretch.
On the Fringe
I believe one of these teams will end up pushing Sparta (and possibly Darwin/West Lawn) for a playoff spot (would be very surprising if the Crimewave didn't move up quite a bit):
-Baltimore Crimewave
-New Jersey Lions
-Baguio City White Lady
-Generation X The Prodigal Son
GAME EIGHT PREDICTIONS:
Texas Aggies vs. Baguio City White Lady - White Ladies will get their record to .500 by mid-season and win easily here.
Tehran Twelvers vs. Generation X The Prodigal Son - Twelvers are simply stronger than Son and it will show on the scoreboard.
Minnesota Junk Mailers vs. JetNation Titans - Should be a solid game but the MJM's running game will be a bit much for the Titans to overcome.
New Jersey Lions vs. Red River Rampage - The Lions roar will have little effect on RRR - RRR big.
The Glorious 55 vs. Bay Area Bulls - Bulls got their first W last week - chalk up another and dare I say a "win streak."
UH OH Squad vs. Hull Spartans - Spartans looked good against the Badgers and will look even better against a struggling UH OH team.
Dallas Badgers vs. Darwin Desert Dingoes - Triple D has played well on the season I don't think they'll play well enough to win but to keep it somewhat close.
GAME OF THE WEEK
Baltimore Crimewave vs. West Lawn Bulldogs - Should be a good match up between these two teams. The Crimewave should start coming into their own after a rough start to the season. The Bulldogs gave MJM a bite but only for a half as they led last week 13-3 before their wheels all fell off. They will need a similar effort all game long to hold back the surging Wave and I don't think they'll be up for the task. I see the Wave pulling away in the second half - not as much as MJM did as I think this one will be much close. However, the Bulldogs have the ability to win this so it should be the best battle of the week - I just think the Wave are about to go on a run (although I have thought that much of the season and here they sit at 3-4).
GLB TOURNEY UPDATE:
As expected - some top Western Conference teams remain in the hunt for some hardware. If Dallas wins their game tonight against the Iron River Steelers it will be an all Sophomore Casual Competitive #1 - Western Conference Final Four.
2-1: Iron River Steelers at Dallas Badgers: Playing tonight - not sure IR can shut down the ground game.
2-2: Tehran Twelvers at Minnesota Junk Mailers: This one should be a hell of a game. MJM beat them in the regular season 24-10
RRR waiting on the Steelers/Badgers winner while the Crimewave wait on the Twelvers/Junk Mailers. Hope my dots don't screw up the final four showdowns.

No doubt.
I have my dots set up to play on relaxed in the first half of games, than they switch to hard at halftime. That way the fans stay interested and keep buying concessions.

That's a great strategy.....I tell my team to keep their pants on while on the field at least....

I did check out that crime map of Baltimore - daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaamn. Interesting to do a address sort and you can really see the troubled areas a bit better. I don't use my degree at all in the real world but one of my majors was criminal justice.
