I really don't understand why they want to drastically change a system that has hooked all of us. I hope this isn't a HUGE mistake. 3 months from now, hopefully we will all be raving about how improved the game is. Right now, I'm sorta like you a little worried that these modifications are TOO DRASTIC and will damage the FUN FACTOR and force all of us to face new learning curves that I hope that I and and the rest of you are willing to take on. ...as of this writing, I'm not so certain what I think, except, confused O_o. Season 16 is gonna be a season we will all remember (whether positive or negative...time will tell). I have to hope Bort knows what he's doing?

Only time will tell. I think these changes will be a lot more intuitive and a lot less time-consuming than people are making it out to be. That's just my opinion though. Glad to see some people like you are willing to try the changes before they completely write them off and rage quit at the sight of implementation.

The point is: Us veterans have spent countless f'in hours and money on this game, only to have our work be dismantled because some mental dwarfs don't know how to run a team and save money. In life, if you make good decisions you are rewarded for them, if you make bad decisions you pay for them.........BOTTOM LINE! I'm not saying that some teams aren't f'in the system by having farm systems etc. What you SHOULD do is have some balls and ban them if they do. You know who they are, but do nothing about it, THAT is why we are in this position right now. If you guys had the balls, we wouldn't be in this situation!!

AA, AAA and Pro leagues used to be competitive and you didn't have Bort begging teams to move up. That is a constant in this game now and has been for 3-4 seasons.

And the minor leagues are HUGE (and sorted pretty competitively as well), Decline of S1 and S2 dots caused a lot of thinning in the upper levels, the dot ages are more spread out now and there wont be another massive drop like there was. But there are TONS of well run cap built teams in the minors, in the next 2-4 season you will see the upper levels teeming with good squads.

Ok let me put it this way. Let's say you sold your AAA team and started over 5 seasons ago. I'm not sure if that's really how long ago it was, but just for the sake of argument. And let's also say at the time you gutted, you dropped down with 90 million in the bank, and a full stadium.

Now let's say someone wanted to gut and start over with their AAA team last season. They would be left with only 1.5 mil in the bank, and a reset stadium.

Was the second owner a mental dwarf who made bad decisions with his money? I'd hope you wouldn't say yes, because he did the exact same thing you did, except he was a victim of circumstance, and happened to do it after GLB closed that loophole. The reason they're doing this has absolutely nothing to do with owners who were bad with their money. It has everything to do with creating an equal opportunity and playing field for everybody, especially since we are giving a much bigger importance to money and salary than in the past.

This is not a "bail out" or "communism". It's a completely new system, so we're starting with a clean slate. It's a beta game...it happens.

just don't see why going from BBB to Pro in 8 seasons and scrimping the whole way gets shafted. But its 2010...bailouts are the buzz.

They should do a blowout adjusted stat to teams money.

I understand the reason you're so mad is you're losing a bunch of money that you have managed well. I understand that. It would be somewhat frustrating to me too. Is it better for the game though? That's what you have to ask yourself. You can't tell me it's fair you can drop down with 125 mil and a full stadium when owners who try to do that now will be left with 1.5 mil and an empty stadium.

The fact that you think you should be entitled to this advantage just because you've been playing the game longer is really selfish, and completely ridiculous. You did, reset your team and start over right? So your current team has been around for lets say 5 seasons, and they have over $100,000,000 more than the team that starts at the same time, and for what exactly? Gutting and starting over?

You were able to pay high salaries and bonuses to recruit and you could use your stash of money for EQ upgrades without needing to worry about stadium upgrades. If you had a few holes in the roster you could pay max cash to trade for top players from other teams that were going CPU.
