It is what it is man - sorry. Bort thinks this is the best way to ensure balance between the various options and it's not like every one won't be using the same training system. You also need to factor in that ALG's are more efficient (for most builds now) so build efficiency will be balanced out somewhat (if we'd had time, probably would have made more sense to roll this out with the archetypes).

Basically your changing for the sake of change? Not all change is good.

lol I didn't think them up. Not even close. In fact, not a single one of the training ideas is mine.

If thats the case, why are you the one answering all the questions and even introducing the changes in the first place? Dont you think these would be better explained by the honcho(s) who created it?

Training still isn't going to change your players build overall. You're still going to put your SP's into what you're currently putting them in.

How many players are you sitting with 4 AE's and/or 2+ extra SA's?

None right now and none in the future. I like using just the regular equipment.

And the ones that really hate change are the ones that express that feeling. Not the ones that like it. Which is why you will always see a bunch of similar people on these boards expressing how much they hate a new part of the game.

I agree with this but I do think there has been more fear and upset over these changes than probably any others. The reason is that there are so many things changing all at once and the new system, especially the original one, is so complex. If people can't understand what is happening that makes the fear and anger about change ever greater.

We would lose 78 BT's vs the old system just in training, then when you factor in the 4 attributes we'd conservatively have to unlock that's an additional 50 BT's. Sooo just to get back to where we are right now in the current system we'd have to do 43 light trains. That's an entire season and part of a preseason just to catch up with our BT's.

And for what it's worth people would still do the light trains at the end of their careers regardless.

What if you were given 84 BT when you created a player. (remember, this would be like receiving 28 now)

Sure you could cash them all in for 7 sp, but that will only help you short term. This would let players unlock some early training options while keeping things in perspective long term with the BT loss.

To each his own. AEQ has never really appealed to me.

People fear change when they become used to something man. Its life. Sometimes you just have to rip the band aid straight off instead of slowly peeling it.

Because I'm responsible for communicating the changes. I'm basically the go between from Bort to GLB. He's too busy to be here answering questions all day. Nothing would ever get done if he did. If there's something I don't know, I ask him. Most of the stuff I know and answer.

There are 3 reasons people are upset:

1. Training changes are overly complicated, and not really necessary
2. Finance changes are kind of half-baked. (popcorn??)
3. Coaching changes are a blatant cash grab.
