Not that I know of. They didn't have one for the last release, so I doubt that they'll have one now.

I had no idea that my individual tactics would negatively affect my performance if the DC had different tactics set.

Starting next game I'll make sure I follow it to a T.

Um, no one can give you the answer for that. It depends on your personnel, the other team's personnel and a host of other issues.

Oh, I unstickied it because it's linked and indexed in the FAQ sticky. I wanted to try to unclutter the sticky section of the forum.

Question.

About those owners/players with multiple teams, will they be forced to give up their teams after the purchased period runs out, or will they be allowed to extend indefinitely?

Questions
When and if I find an existing team to buy (not an expansion team), will the new owner get a couple of days to clean house without taking a hit in Chemistry or is that only waved for expansion teams?

Also will the new owner get 500K seed money or was that just for expansion teams?

Also does the new owner assume any outstanding loans or is that cleared out when the original owner was foreclosed?

1. As of now, you don't get any grace period. Bort is looking to change that, but it hasn't been implemented yet.

2. The owner won't get $500K in seed money, that was only for expansion teams

3. The owner assumes all loan payments that the previous owner has not paid off yet.

That really makes expansion look A LOT better than buying a used team. If the owner dumped the team I am sure he didn't leave everything in good order. Then you buy a junky team, probably running in the red because he renegoiated all his friends contract with HUGE signing bonuses before cutting them, and your hands are completely tied because you have a loan payment coming up, so you can't sign any players, so your team can't get any better, so then you end up dumping the team in worse condition for the next guy. (Nice run-on sentence)

Maybe I should wait til the next expansion.

Another question (and a bump since this is such a great FAQ)
Is it possible for prospective buyers to see if a team has any loans outstanding prior to buying? I just looked at a random team and I couldn't see it on any of the screens the general public has access to. Thanks in advance and I really appreciate all the info in this thread.

There's no real easy way to tell. You could try to do some calculations in terms of how much money he spent on expansion and his payroll and guesstimate (or you could wait 10 days and see if his money had a drop of around $400,000 in one day), but the guy will have to tell you to be sure.

After your initial rename when you take over, is it possible to rename a team under the same ownership?
