This is a cheat. They found out that in the new system one can go to LV 79 with 23 boosts. So now they are dishing ~50 extra SPs per dot. Overall from the APD all dots get 75 SPs value added to them (Lv 74->LV 79 + this announcement). I can't see how this is a good addition to the sim, which seemed to be getting toward a balance point.
The new boost adjusted level caps where enough to get plenty of boost from everyone. No need to bend the game so much.

1. I have not problem with the free dot part of the announcement.
2. I don't care that now I need 7 extra boost for my dots (was planning to use the 23 boost to Lv 79 road).

The free slot idea is brilliant. Hopefully it'll prevent new players from getting trampled into the dust by boosters and then quitting.
The incentive for boosting is idiotic; it simply increases the discrepancy of boosted vs non-boosted players. I should design a similar game called 'Goalline Cash' where the person who sends me the most money wins. Yeah, that sounds like a functional business model.

I was 
when I read it. Never thought that something like that could happen on GLB. Great addition for new users and a nice way to play around with some experimental builds!
The level boost cap is not so great, IMO, but GLB has to make some money after they just gave a huge gift to the players

Catch, does this mean dots that where created even 5 seasons ago, if they did not use those first 3 boosts in the off-season of creation wont be able to get to 79?

My hunch has been that past a certain point, extra SPs in an attribute don't help anymore. Now we get a chance to see if that's right. Someone pump their HB up to 200 and see what happens..

My OGs are unhappy by the change. Can I get 100% refund ?

Number of boost until he reach lv 79 : 21
(so he will not boost more then the younger dots).
He is just 2 seaosn older from newly created dots. So 2/5 of his plateau season he will be facing dots that where building in the new system from starts. That mean
1) More SP/ boost mean they capped faster.
2) Slightly better training between caps early (due to the 1.6 factor)
3) New goal for cap limits. (with extra 70 SP, in the career one can even more crazy). He will get the SPs, but can't spend them as efficiently as a new dot.

I checked for day 119 dot that boosted to Lv 2 on creation, he will be able to reach 30 boost. And still had a extra plateau boost not used (so I guess if those we didn't boost to Lv 2 are ok). Older dots should be in better position (remember in the old system we had 39 possible boosts)

All I know that it is a big shift of dot building. And the sim actually started to look nice. I don't claim it will be "bad" or "sim breaking" but it just a not necessary turmoil.

So do players currently in plateau (and will finish season there) that will be grandfathered into the 2 years of plateau not only get 3 additional boosts (6 sps) but now also 20 sps (total of 38 sps)?
