I know this will not make everyone happy. yet this was a hard decision. I talked it over with my wife and both Teenage Step Children, They feel the same way I do. Although, The only fallback, is He did not Post, or PM.

Carthage did make the Final Bracket last season, and Possibly lost out on a trophy.

He was waiting for the other Team, and did not post here. I am allowing his Team to move on against the Dirty South Brew Crew.

Edit - I had the brackets scrolled and miscounted the rounds.
Osaka/DADDY and BHGoW/BSS are round 5 games - they're supposed to finish by d20, then the winners play each other in round 6 by day 24, then that winner plays CAHE in round 6 by day 28. Your game was in plenty of time to be ready for this. Winning out means a lot of sitting and waiting in double-elim, sorry.

I'm not saying the losers brackets aren't a problem - they usually fall behind, especially as playoffs near, and even with deadlines I wouldn't be surprised if this still doesn't finish this season. But a day or two in the winner's bracket finals won't back anything up.

I'm looking at this from a tournament-wide perspective. Whether my team wins or loses, we don't EVER hold up a tournament. Frankly, I just find it disrespectful to other owners/teams/players when certain teams overschedule their scrimmages and make it impossible to stay on schedule.

Cagliari vs Mentone happened on the 3rd, not today. Carthage vs Saipan happened on the 1st.
Cagliari vs Portland Dirty Penguins (Played Dec 8) didn't have anything to do with this tournament.

Yeah, I'm just saying that winner's bracket rounds aren't the same as loser bracket rounds, and "winner's bracket 4th round" is really the 6th/7th round in terms of deadlines for scheduling to keep the tournament moving.

I know this tournament runs short on time every season, it's a tight schedule, and lilcokeman has a kind heart and hates to forfeit teams who don't get games scheduled (it's never really clear cut as to who should get the forfeit anyway). I've watched this tournament fall short many a season, which is a shame as it's one of the best tournaments each season for a long time running.

because Carthage got fucked last season alongside the other Champ bracket participants. you also obviously didn't whine early or loud enough.

also there was no reason to FF us since our next opponent won't be decided for another 3 days anyway. we're not holding anything up and havent...

The forfeit would have been because you didn't schedule your game with Cagliari, which should have been resolved by now so the winner could play the Dirty South (who you played today), not because of the round vs Dirty South or the round vs winner of RToF/E-City.
