If you demote, the players don't go with you. If you give all the money to the players to go to another team, that violates the cash farm rules and will be punished. If they want to give all their money to players who are going to many teams before they demote, that won't really be feasible once Bort implements the new EQ system.

so if you demote to a level 30-capped league and all the players were under level 30 you cut them?

Teams "overpromoting". For example, the "we won too many games and got moved up 2 caps to level 22 when my team is only level 17 on average, please demote us to 18 cap" people. Who do get moved down sometimes. If they know that that they are going to do this, and they have a good amount of cash in the bank...what's to stop them from giving all the players big bonuses in the last few days of the season, then demoting and having all the cash back?

I don't really understand what you're saying here. Care to spell it out for me a little more clear with an example as I'm not seeing how this is a problem - it's late and I've been in a hospital all day.

Ok, classic example is a nonboosting team. Let me change the numbers...they're nonboosters, in a level 34 cap league, all come in at level 34. They end the season at level 37-38 on average. Now, since they were at the cap at season start and had a training advantage, they win 10 games, go to the playoffs. Promotion rules dictate a 2 cap jump, to a 42 cap league.
However, the owner PMs support, explains that they are a nonboosting team and will be vastly underleveled next season in 42 cap and have no chance, please oh please put us into the 38 capped league next season. Kindhearted admin says ok, puts the team in 38. This has happened tons of times in the past.

So, after they get bounced from their playoff game, the team has 13,000,000 in cash. Teams in 38 cap automatically get set to 12,000,000, up or down. So between when they get bounced and when they get moved, they give tons of cash out to the players, piss all their money away, then next season, get set to...12,000,000. While their net worth, counting money in the hands of players, is closer to 25,000,000.

I see just about every team that's about to demote massively loading outgoing players with cash now - no reason to keep it on. Already happens plenty with teams going CPU, but now teams demoting at all are motivated to spend every last cent before day 41.

I get that im saying you have a 38 cap team with 100mill and level 14 players they give that cash to there players then demote own to a 14 cap they still have there players and there cash stadium doesnt really matter then

new announcement - Lv 34 - Stadium: +Lower Home Left, +Lower Home Right, +Lower Away Left, +Lower Away Right, +Lower Endzone Left, +Lower Endzone Right, +Second Home, +Second Away; Cash: 10,000,000; Fan Support: 30/10/0

by then you should have a full stadium and way more cash than that, so if you are going to demote you are best off re-setting the entire thing to level 4 and you'll be in FAR better shape financially than any of these pre-set stadiums

Honestly, I think that is a good thing. It should cost a team a big chunk of their cash and earning potential when they drop down. If the NY Giants relocated to Mobile, Alabama to play in the USFL they would lose a huge chunk of their fan base and revenue. This sort of simulates that.

at first I read that as "QQ and way to make it...", then I realized that's what it should have said anyway.

Edit - and sucks for all the teams that are resetting next season for archtype players

If the EQ changes like discussed, they wouldn't really get anything out of it, since their stadium would get reset.

If cash has any use, then they will.

my point was these are so low that you are better off dumping the team and starting with level 4 players in a level 4 capped league by far

see - this is why this announcement without the rest of the plan creates a mess - but they don't get that

We can clarify the demotion requests to not allow those in instances where teams have done that - we review every demotion request manually, so we can review their team cash history and see if they have done something like that. Pretty easy to catch tbh.

In the proposed new system, the player doesn't accumulate cash, since it is worthless to him. His salary amount is used to determine any effects on his morale.

Since the cash then doesn't travel with the player, the team gets no benefit from loading him up.
