good point. Not everyone has the same amount of time as smizzy does. (no offense to you just a fact). And for the average gamer, is it really fair?

We have as similar story... we were a bbb9 expansion team with lots of players fresh out of d-league in season 3. We managed to tough it out vs teams that out leveled us greatly and wrapped up the season with a meager 13-3 record for 3rd place.

This season we've improved and will finish the season 15-1 in possession of first place.

I know posting a thread in this forum is like painting a giant bulls eye on your chest but there are many teams out there who do not see any light at the end of the tunnel and I wanted to shed some hope on those guys.

I bought my team week 3 of season 2 from an owner who gutted the team before I got control of it. This was before there were Chemistry resets or chemistry grace periods.

It took me at least 8-12 games to get enough starters to stop killing our stamina. We were in really bad shape.
and finished 2-14 that season. We finished in a 4 way tie for last place and did not get demoted.


Season 3 was a little better, we finished 4-12. We finished 13th overall,2 games back from being demoted.

In the off season I rebuilt our offense and brought on a tremendous staff.we are 12-2 and have won 11 in a row. We will make our first playoff appearance this season.

It wasn't an easy road to get here,but it was well worth it. It's a tremendous feeling to promise my team a playoff berth and deliver it to them after the last 2 seasons. It is possible to fall into a pile of shit and turn in to a playoff team.

The players on my team were very grateful to have an owner come in and take control of the team and treat them right. After the 5 or 6th game of season 2 95% of my guys signed long term deals with us. I just wanted to say thanks to those players for sticking around and being here when we make our first playoff game. It's players like you guys who make this game fun to be a part of!

I do not know how we will do in the playoffs , I just know we will be there and considering where we came from,that is an achievement in itself.

I also couldn't do any of this without my staff...

This is nothing. I got my team day 5 of last season with all CPUs, went 7-9 and am now poised to make the playoffs this season. Congrat though, it is tough turning a team around.

How is going from third place to first place a huge turnaround?

Yea I fail to see that. And levels mean crap. Give me a team of well built 16s vs crappy level 25s anyday.

I'm just saying that we struggled through what felt like countless losses our first season but we kept our heads up. And, because of this we were able to turn it around in season 4.

You didnt have countless losses.... you had three.... You made the playoffs as a top seed.... HOW THE FUCK IS THAT A CINDERELLA STORY AT ALL LOL

3 losses is countless? I can fit that on 1 hand

ok wait a second what do you expect for a good turnaround? 3 to 1 is VERY tough. Plus we reduced our losses by a ton. Most glb teams do worse and worse

A good turnaround is moving up 6-8 spots minimum.

That's ridiculous and 99% of those 5 instances have nothing to do with the team improving and everything to do with the teams above them getting tired of glb and quitting.

Not true. I have seen teams turn things around in 1 season. It just takes hard work and dedication.

You were a competitive team last year, you are a competitive team this year.... Big turnaround.
