I, for instance, am a qualified, certified, WR/CB expert.

Seriously. Just because I'm level 24 doesn't mean I won't ask a level 17 guy what type of build he has if he's tearing up his league.

Also a lot of times the advice comes on minor stats. Okay I know I need speed/agility/catching as a wideout. There are a BUNCH of other attributes that go into plays, maybe I want to see which ones have worked best from other guys.

Building a player doesnt actually begin to get challenging until you reach your higher levels.

I view Level 24 as the "maturation" level of a player. Until then you're still a "kid", but by 24 you should know what kind of player you're going to be and if he's any good. Cause after 24, levels come by very slowly, so you're kind of stuck with seeing your flaws all over the place.

Hell, it took me 27 levels to realize that my WR sucks. So I'm retiring him and re-rolling him.

I don't know where I was going with this.

But yeah, advice is good. I always prowl the forums for the latest advice. You can usually tell what makes sense and what doesn't.

its because everyone says to "3:1 or 4:1 cap speed/agility/vision/strength/whatever"

and by level 24 all those core attributes are already capped. So naturally people will ask what to do after they reach those caps.

But what if you learn that you don't need to learn anymore? Do you become Stephen Hawking and start making stuff up about black holes and time machines?

I like to do little tests of level 1's to see how one stat affects them. Very unreliable, but it passes the time.

I have a pretty good idea on what needs to be done to any given player at any given point in their career, including my own. I don't mind giving advice, and if I'm unsure, I will specify that in my reply.

I don't have any issues building my players at this time. I don't have any questions or concerns. I'm sure I'll ask for some feedback, though likely not in this forum, when I reach the point that adding SP is a bit of a harder choice.

Since my highest players are 17, I'll just barely be reaching 24 before the playoffs next season, I think. I pretty much know where my next 35 SP will be going on each of them. After that, it does get a little more difficult. You're deciding between abysmally low attributes and soft capped attributes on most players, at that point.

I'd try to give decent advice.

However, 90% of this game is guesswork. Bort is constantly changing stuff, and nobody has had sufficient time to thoroughly test anything.

The only answer I haven't seen seems to be the only correct one, to me.

Alot of these high level players that ask most of these questions, have boosted and boosted and boosted and not learned how the builds go. They think they can get so far ahead of the pack with just numbers, they don't actually learn what their position is all about. There is a point to where you are the leader of the pack and have no clue what your doing; whereas the lower level guys have a better grasp on their man than you do.

Just my oppinion tho.

I am considering asking for advice at lvl 36. Tough choices are to be made then at putting everything into SAs or soft-capping a few more minor abilities.
