Next, we'll await word from Bort on when we are able to set up "friendlies". No need to bug him. He said he will make a huge announcement and that it will be easy to set up AFTER the season has started and is moving along smoothly. That is priority #1.

The dates selected are very tentative at this point. If there is any delay, we can push the 1st round back as late as August 20th. After that, it would interfere too much with League Playoff Games. I want to have everything done by then.

If you and the owner that you are playing agree and want to sim the game BEFORE the scheduled date because you have a tough game that day or the next day, that is fine. With 3 days in between playoff games now, you could even push the games back a day or 2 as long as both owners agree.

The games are scheduled on off days for 90% of the teams. There are 5-10 teams who play in AAA or AA who play on even numbered days. You will likely have to play 2 games on the same day so plan in advance. You can begin scouting now at least for the 3 possible teams you play in the first 2 rounds. You have time to prepare.

We'd face a team who already boosted and is just barely higher level than we are for the effort. Gotta love the intelligence of, when there's a MAJOR change to the way player builds and the sim works, boosting before really getting to test things out and find the best way to spend those points....

We have a tough matchup in the first round with Santiago, but it's what we expected. After all, this IS the top 64 teams in GLB (that aren't scared of a little competition).

Isnt there like a reset after scrim games?

I don't think anyone has an EASY 1st round game. These teams are all pretty solid.

These are exhibition games that don't affect anything including energy, ticket sales, concessions, anything.
