I can't imagine the trial and error of making a mostly zone defense. I have a hard time identifying the zones just to help in coverage. SBB TE Clearout...The LB never takes the underneath crosser who steadily beats the man coverage.

It's really more about builds than any defensive genius! knock loose is a big deal because you're often going to be a step late getting to the ball. but intercept is also big because you'll have so many shots at picks from the underneath guys. and then having all of the stuff that helps them make reads and move around the zones fast: zone focus, ball hawk, super genius.

Basically, you really can't build great for both zone and man, and man is way more prevalent for good reason, so most will build for it, meaning it's then hard to "try out" zones. A few really talented ghuys have found a way to work in a bit of a mix, but it's not easy.

GG MM, two pick -6

GG Stray Dogs, we needed that win.

It's tough to gameplan for two teams at the same time.

Beast job Jackals. I guess I'm excited we passed for more than 13 yards, but not really really excited...

GG Wise and the rest of the team. There is no doubt in my mind that if it was a playoff game today, the results would be MUCH different. With any luck, we can find out this season!

Honestly the main reason zone is hard is because of the game logic. You can have high vision and put them in a proper zone and they still run straight to where the QB/HB WAS instead of where they are MOVING TO. You all know that dot's continuously run into the D-Line on outside runs or they go into zone and can have 100 vision but don't pick up the QB read.

GG Cherokke, fumblitis was the key

GG JJ, you had a strong 4th Q and our defense couldn't stop anything.

GG zz / London. I'm just happy Sno didn't get shutout in back-to-back weeks.

Sno offense:
vs Jackals: 0 ppg
vs Nexill's zone defense nightmare fuel: 21 ppg
vs all other opponents: 61.4 ppg

Also announcing, gonna bring this dot (Power FB) that's #2 in AAA oMVP voting to Sno before our next game along with a pair of possession receivers, to help avoid future shutouts...
