If that's the case, there's no reason to spend flex on players anymore and we will use only CPU....People always forget, CPU dots scale up or down to the average level of their opponent. The first three teams that Cairns City played were full of mostly Level 3 dots, but with a handful of Level 8 dots pulling up their average, so the CPU dots were probably scaling up to Level 4 or 5, playing against mostly Level 3 dots. At that level, that's a bit of a gap. Combine that with the fact that most coordinators look at CPU dots and think "Aha! Easy win!", and that's a recipe for CPU dots to jump up and surprise you.
Never assume a team full of CPU dots is an automatic win. Gameplan for them as if they're a normal team, and make sure you understand the way CPU level-scaling works.
Keep in mind, too, that when a human-owned team has mostly CPU dots, those CPU dots are penalized. But when a
CPU-owned team has mostly CPU dots, the dots are
NOT penalized. It's still amazes me that we're in Season 105 and people STILL don't understand that important distinction, but whatever. Of course, in this case Cairns City is human-owned, but I'm willing to bet the 3 teams they've beaten so far failed to take them seriously or account for the level-scaling, so here we are.
