This was the OLD, pre-crash schedule:
Season zero (days 40-48) - Create dot, get 3 boosts available, any of those 3 unused boosts go away at rollover to season 1. (3 total boosts available so far, age = 0)
Season one (day -8) - At season rollover, get 3 boosts available, any of those 3 unused boosts go away at season's end. (6 total boosts available so far, age at season end = 40)
Season two (day -8) - At season rollover, get 3 boosts available, any of those 3 unused boosts go away at season's end. (9 total boosts available so far, age at season end = 80)
Season three (day -8) - At season rollover, get 3 boosts available, any of those 3 unused boosts go away at season's end. (12 total boosts available so far, age at season end = 120)
Season four (day -8) - At season rollover, get 3 boosts available, any of those 3 unused boosts go away at season's end. (15 total boosts available so far, age at season end = 160)
Season five (day -8) - At season rollover, get 3 boosts available, any of those 3 unused boosts go away at season's end. (18 total boosts available so far, age at season end = 200)
Season six (day -8) - At season rollover, get 3 boosts available, any of those 3 unused boosts go away at season's end. (21 total boosts available so far, age at season end = 240)
Season seven (day -8) - At season rollover, get 3 boosts available, any of those 3 unused boosts go away at season's end. (24 total boosts available so far, age at season end = 280)

This is the NEW, post-crash boost schedule as I understand it now:
Day 40 of season zero to day 0 of season one: Create dot. 10 boosts are available. 5 boosts go away if unused by day 1 of season 1. 5 boosts go away if unused by the end of season 1. (10 boosts available so far, age at end of season 1 is 40 days.)
Rollover to season 2 (day -4) : 5 boosts become available that will go away if unused by the end of this season. (15 boosts available so far, age at end of season 2 is 80 days.)
Rollover to season 3 (day -4) : 5 boosts become available that will go away if unused by the end of this season. (20 boosts available so far, age at end of season 3 is 120 days.)
Rollover to season 4 (day -4) : 5 boosts become available that will go away if unused by the end of this season. (25 boosts available so far, age at end of season 1 is 160 days.)
Rollover to season 5 (day -4) : Dot enters plateau at age 160. 5 boosts become available that do not expire. ALSO, up to 5 "makeup" boosts become available that do not expire.
Total boosts available : 35 boosts (only 30 can be used, obviously).
