They've mentioned being multi training still I believe, so 3 AEQ.

I will have 3 AEQ slow built dots finishing at ~1530 PV and I don't even know what I'm doing, so I can image real dot builders will have 1550+ 3 AEQ dots

Ya the new system I a seeing higher effective levels on dots from what I can figure, I have 2 3 aeq dots in the making one will finish around 1546 the other around 1533

I am going to take it your dot is a 3 aeq dot since I didn't get a answer and smitty even confirmed in a thread last season that the majority of the dots are 3 aeq. 3 aeq dots usually finish with a higher effective level being that they multi train longer.

I not sure how your sk pts are spread on your dot and I don't know if it makes a difference in what position the dot is but a 3 aeq dot should end up 1525+ in effective level. Just my opinion as I don't build cb's a lot and with them you might have to spread the sk pts out more than other positions.

I've got a VPB run for my next set of 3 AEQ cover CBs coming out at 1544 PV, hoping that I can actually pull it off and not mess it up along the way. It only ended up at 1240 BTs tho so if I don't get a 5% piece I want in my first 7 rolls for AEQ then I'd have to cut the training a little short and lose a few PV from that.

Ya it is kind of hard following a vbp build plan from the start, eq usually place a part of it as your building. Myself I don't really follow a vbp build guide but I do use it at times to see how the dot I am building is progressing.

Finish was a joke….

I don’t always completely believe in EL as the sole indicator. It really depends on if you’re willing to solely target the primary’s to get it that high

CB need

Speed
Agility
Vision
Tackling
Jumping
Catching
Stamina

And I believe enough attention to strength and confidence to be impactful. Plus some pretty important SAs you gotta make

If you can hit those and get 1540 then good on ya.

My corner is gonna ball out and the blitzing one is a tank

Very true here, higher primary attys = higher PV at the end. A more rounded build with higher S7/S8 or more SAs will not chart as high on the PV.
I'm building some CBs that are hopefully going to be able to match the speed/agility of the new 4 major speed WRs that are being built, but not have any catching and only 30-40 strength/confidence. See how it shakes out in a few seasons.

Just sticking with the WR and deflecting. Don’t need to intercept a pass if it never gets thrown your way

Also, 74 tackling, 35 strength, make tackle % gear, 5 wrap up tackle SA and Sure Tackler VA I think he will be fine. Not “built for tackling” but also not ignoring it.
