I would know the answer to this but, TBPH, I never noticed it until now. Quick Cut SA vs Change Direction SA. Their description reads exactly the same!
Are they the same SA, just labeled differently?
If you have 'Change Direction' in your available SA's then get 'Quick Cut' as a AEQ piece, will it simply dump those points into Change Direction or will you have 2 SA's that do the same thing?

Yes. Exactly the same. If you got a piece of CD gear and a piece of QC gear, it would be like stacking the same and subject to diminishing returns.

I think someone brought it up many moons ago on a return man CB. There was a Bort quote at one point in time. No idea if it survived dot-pocalypse

You could probably do a Ctrl-f search of the Q&A threads. I'm on my phone ATM, but I think that's where it is.

Is it possible to add the second one as an additional VA and get 5 in each which would be cheaper than 10 in one?

So... it's the same but not "the same"? Meaning if I have CD and I got AEQ with QC they would BOTH show up on my dot... separate but equal and subject to stacking? That's whack.

To be fair, that's a pretty big IF .

There may have been some kind of exclusion (like how non-QBs never get pass % gear) made after that, iirc, to prevent that from happening.

That was like 10+ years ago though, so maybe it was just talked about.
