This doesn't do what you think it does.

What matters is hitting your caps at lower levels (so alg's are worth more and take you higher) that's like bragging about making a nickle instead of making $2.

Don't use s0 boosts is my advice, is it not clear in the OP?

I made this thread to help others avoid a pitfall. Not sure how I've offended you, but I hope you come to realize what I was saying.

Getting an attribute to 68.5 at level 6 is by definition hitting your caps at lower levels.

Remaining ALGs for a 4 major attribute at level 6 are approximately 22.664 meaning the attribute is already destined to achieve 91.164. That was not achievable in the old system at level 6.

I'm not recommending to anyone, any method of building. I was pointing out to RC a simple mathematical fact that does have value with some builds seeking a high leading attribute. But then you have to jump in with your arrogant condescension.

As far as bragging, before you presume that you know everything better than anyone else perhaps you should take the time to actually look at my page and see that my players have acquired 438 League and 792 Conferences championship rings, 82 tournament trophies and 79 MVP and thats having only played maybe half the seasons.

Look bud, I'm trying to turn over a new leaf and be a smidge less combative in GLB 3.0, but you're making it difficult for me at this moment, so let's take a step back together shall we?

1. I'm not comparing anything to s1-s99 GLB, because it doesn't matter. I'm comparing s100 boosting s0 to s100 not boosting s0.

2. Not sure why you are explaining to me what ALG's are...

3. In RC's example all attributes were the same or higher by waiting. Further if he/we/you/me want we can take those highest attributes and spend less on them with the "skip d0" method and effectively get 25 SP's to spend anywhere, including minors, since SP's are fungible. Thus even when seeking out builds without the highest primary attribute, delaying boosts is optimal.

4. Don't care about your broken link trophies or whatever you're talking about, stop being weird. I last had a plateau dot in s49 and I've never won a WL gold, so I'm kinda a big deal!

5. Sorry for the "arrogant condescension". I feel a little bit like I'm talking to one of those guys that thinks the moon landing is fake, I'm not sure if you're trolling or actually believe what you're saying, but regardless it's hard to not be a little condescending in that scenario, ya know? Fwiw I made this thread to try to help people, so I can't be more than 99% a jerkbag imo.

======

Think for a second. Why do we boost at the END of every season (d44) rather than d1? It's because it's advantageous to train at lower level and to save boosts for when attributes are higher. Well skipping s0 boosts and instead using catch-up boosts is doing the same thing, except rather than the gap being 1 season, it's literally the dot's full career. If you truly believe whatever crackpot stuff you're saying, I implore you to boost on s1d1, s2d1, s3d1, s4d1 maximize you're strategy for kids that aren't the best at math.

======

Fwiw I really tried to make this reply as friendly as possible. I hope you can see the light through the brain damage, moronface.

Also entirely possible there is some human error/standard deviation built in here and could have gotten even closer results.

Power HB........Boosting 1st Offseason Boosting 2nd Offseason Difference
PV............................1482......................................1508....................-26
Strength..................104.02...................................105.01.................-0.99

i have no idea which is better since there are infinite ways to build BUT majors end .1 and minors all end .26 so I do know all of your numbers are incorrect fyi

Per BORT-> Make sure you use last season's boosts by the end of day 0, however, if you want to use them!

It sounds like use them before day 0 of S100 or lose them. Is that correct??

So can I use my S99 5 boost on Day0 or do I have to use them before Day0 ??

Never mind I just re-read the post. You have until the END of Day 0.
