Never forget we won EPL with a top d and what it turns out was a somewhat flawed roster.

Still a heck if a run, and the 4 Woodpeckers on TSW each are a gigantic reason for TSW's #1 by a wide margin offense!

OK, so how many total agents had EQ changes in this period? Is it just the one agent? If it's more than one, then there certainly was some conspiracy going on!

Did you know before the season equip was expiring? If yes, why didn't you alert them?

Why would you rent CEQ mid season so it expires mid season in the first place?

If by some miracle the team you owned made WL with a legit WL quality roster, how would you feel about this situation if it happened to you as an owner?

PD7 is generally a pretty stand up guy (from my personal experience) and if he says it was a mistake, then it probably was. Is it irresponsible? Yea, probably. Would I start a witch hunt with plans to crucify him before the GLB gods? Probably not. End of the day, I get the frustration from Tom, and lots of respect for all involved, but it's not like you spent 10 seasons trying to get to WL and this happened. I think it's a bit much to be burning friendships because of a potential one off situation. Just my two cents.

I don't want to beat a dead horse here, but fwiw when I made this thread title (a) I didn't yet know the situation, (b) I was hoping Mauler or KoB was at the center of another cheating scandal *sad bear noises, (c) something literally did happen here which shouldn't have.

This is to say, the thread title isn't a witch hunt.

I'm still confused why PD7 bought equip rentals midway through a prior season, but it is what it is.
