WL just needs to go away. It's obsolete and way past it's prime.

There's already a way for the best age 280+ teams to complete. It's called the Pro Tournament.

Imagine if the was some league to league smack talk in Pro, like in the old days.

Or better yet, kill WL then merge all of Pro into one giant demi-league, with a 16 team playoff system for the top 2 teams from each of the conferences.

I kinda wish WL went away so pro was better. The pro tournament would be better too

yeah, I was never a fan of WL. the pro tourny was the way to go IMHO. right now, the pro leagues are barely better than the reg pros

Hate to say it but we would be gone from the game before W/L will, no changes will be made

I was not an advocate of WL back when it was implemented. Now i view it as the carrot at the end of a stick that keeps me playing.

yeah, but the problem is now that I don't care at all about anything under WL. I barely care about pro except for the teams that should be making WL. I'm down to one player and if he doesn't get picked up by a WL team as soon as eligible, I'll probably just walk away.

It is and it isn't. #1 is that it was a great carrot back when teams were backed up waiting to get in. Now there's CPU teams in it... that ain't right. #2 so many of those old builders that filled those leagues have left the building so the # of top tier teams fighting it out has dwindled as well.
There's kind of a "Wow, I made it... but I wonder how it would've been back in season 50 or so?"
