yeah sometimes it just comes suddenly with no real warning. The good thing to remember is he lived a good life and from the sounds of it, he was happy. Remember all the good times and it will help you get past this tough time. I know it's weird to say, but don't mourn his loss, celebrate his life. That's what I'd imagine (without knowing him but just from what you said here) he'd want.

its especially ridiculous when you see multiple people picking the obvious blow out game, and then
one person not paying attention picking the cpu that's about to get blown out.
i've accidentally done this too many times. i've also been on the good end of this where i picked the cpu because of something I saw. when it worked it was a great way to thin the herd. since i generally "won" 4+ leagues per season, i could take chances like that.

the easiest pick is the human owned - mostly CPU roster, against the CPU owned team. The CPU owned team will win in a blowout almost all the time due to the penalties to human owned teams with too many cpu's on the roster.
there are ways for the human team to still win those games. you just have to figure out whether that owner is actually trying to win or not.

Its funny when you check it out. People picking CPU teams to beat full human teams and active teams.

been happening more and more lately with the human team losing. some times you just wonder if the human team threw the game. and some times, the RNG just bites you in the ass. many seasons ago, I helped put together a team for some one during the season. by the final week of the season, our chem was finally respectable, and we slaughtered a cpu team. as luck would have it, our playoff opponent would be that same team except this time we were at home. we got our asses kicked by almost a mirror image of the 1st game. at that time, it was the 1st non rookie team that I'd had been on where it happened. been on many more since then. i'm running a reg minor team right now (36 human/4 cpu players), and seeing the early season results, my money is that we'll lose at least 1 game to a cpu team this season. edit: that league is already down to it's final participant.

Also, when I've picked for or against a team twice, will they disappear as an option or do I need to watch for that?
