I have to admit, I fcking LoVE the 4 days off before the Playoffs, whoever came up with that gets a couple free lap dances at The Dirty Sanchez.

i'm not going to start a new thread for the Playoff stuff, because this thread was the best in many seasons.

World League playoff birth (and WL invite back) comes down to one win or loss for so many teams, Its not that often anymore that a team can go all the way through reg season without at least a small stretch of uneasiness, where they realize "hey we could fcking go down if we don't get things straight"

1. Miami v 4. Brazil

I think i like Miami this season as the favorite to win it all. They swept Indy and Brazil in reg season, they haz a Ring, and although Odessa pretty much spanked em twice, Odessa has to get through Indy first.
Razorbacks had a better reg season but I think Zeta was the weaker conf top to bottom. and Miami beat them handily in the cross conference game.
Teams know what they have to do to beat Miami, doing it is a different matter

The Dirty Sanchez is the luckiest team in GLB history. They always have been. seems like every WL season they lose their last 6 or 7 games, and the Big Brother Indy comes in a beats somebody to keep them in the league. Or they come back when somebody guts That's because they stay out all night and come to the field on gameday with no sleep. its tradition Whatever, they are back next season

2.Indy vs 3. Odessa

The GrandDaddys go at it for about the 100th time in the World League playoffs Seven Rings vs 10 rings. Indy Org vs Dotball Syndicate. Hide the women and children. Could the WL Champ come out of this game? of course...

Odessa has turned it on of late, beat Indy vs the nachos, and torched Miami . Odessa gets busy when the games get important. indy has looked pretty average in a lot of games this season, but I don't like picking against us.

1. Razorbacks v 4. Nomads

Razorbacks must have mailed it in over games 10-15. They already had the #1 seed locked up, and then lost 5 of 6. they may be sorry if they looked the other way in the game against their buddies Nomad nation. nomad needed that win to stay up.
I thinks nomads will win this one. nobody is more hungry for a dam title more than Little M and the boyz over there. razorbacks already have 2 Rings.

Nomads have been here for like 10+ seasons and don't have a Championship. (factcheckers can amend this). There isn't a team Nomads havnt beat, but they cant seem to do it for all the Marbles.

2. HOOD v 3. Santiago Benitos

My SLAP brothers The Benitos comin back! The benitos are the opposite of Brazil in that, they always have the bad luck. teams don't beat who they should when the win etc etc etc. Congrats Krille and Gbor.

HOOD went through some tough stretches and picked up a nice win late to seal a playoff and invite back. This game may be about how thinly stretched the cords are in Round 1. and the benitos have a Boozer
serious pedigree and history at HOOD, and they have a Ring.

Nice stuff all season long. Season didn't go a planned. We managed to win all 4 MVP trophies and the pro tourney, but we will see you guys in a couple seasons

Man Great defense, and your O was unstopable by my last ranked defense. I'm cleaning house on the D roster,D has been my achiles heel, and I promise to come back with a s stronger one next time.
Even though I'm leaving with my tail between my legs, I am pleased that I am leaving with the # 1 WL Rush offense not bad for those NO NAME TROPHYLESS Melbourne Beach prototypes, I hope to be remedying that soon.

As far as the playoffs go, Boozed GREAT POST! I like your picks but I am gong with the razorbacks,otherwise I agree , the Gurupies, Maimi, and those silent hoods. WHERE ARE YOU GUYS? Tried to rouse you with my previous post but you lie dormant. Maybe limited internet service in the hood,

Of course every game is up in the air, but I predict by the finals, those Gurupies will be wrapping up a FOURPEAT!

I was thinking about trading for a blackrock dot, but maybe I should go for a Boozer (and get him to pick Razorbacks in the first round).
