I just looked and we almost had a Clean Sweep on the MVP for this season.

Our QB Bazinga got one, our CB Cam Ordway # 28 got one for D, your dot Shimmy & a Shake got the ST one but we
did miss out on the K one. Dang.

I'm happy they straightened things out with the ST.

My day 40 HH LB got the D MVP along with the gear though I don't quite get how he won it. He didn't lead in any category and wasn't even in the top 10 of any category, yet he won it. I'm not complaining, just pointing out that it is wacked out on how it is given.

team record could be a huge indicator. If the team doesn't make the playoffs, then it really doesn't matter what kind of impact the player had. Like Watt last season.

get away from the teams/dots whose sole existence is gear toward collecting MVPs. like the 3-12 team that just hands off every offensive play to the same HB to run up his stats, or the team that only has STOPs and a return man.

also GLB tracks team offense and defense numbers for match-ups... they could do a simple % or something, to figure out how much of that yardage is due to one player.

as for the random dumb-ass-itude of o-linemen getting it...? I have no idea how that even happens. It looks like something is obviously broken and they don't care to fix it.

but yeah, I agree with what you mean about MVP.

I have never seen an offensive lineman get MVP in a league with even 1 competent team.

I have a PHB and CB who are both heading to WL this season sporting their hard earned, well deserved MVP gear...woohoo!
