At the end of the day four of the six games were within 14 points or less. Working as intended?

]WEEK 2

Running Gag vs. Riverhead Rampage- RR put up some serious points and also gave up a bunch. I expect another high scoring game here but RR will end up on the short side but like the playoffs last season it will be tight...44-41.

DIABLOW CIRCLES vs. Twin Peaks - The Peaks had the worst defensive effort of week one of any team in the league. While they won't give up 66 they'll still get tossed around like a whore on a ship...38-24

Detroit Muscle vs. Hoodzilla . - Muscle knocked off Gag for only the second loss they've got and Zilla struggled a little in that game one in the pros. It's not a good combo from the newcomer as Detroit will get the win...34-13.

Her Majesty's Dragons vs. Bier Markt - These to usually play a tight ball game but I'm officially not sold on the Dragons this season as the bullies they've been in the past. We'll see if they can't make me eat my own words...31-21.

Uh Oh! HOOD gone Casual vs. Sofia Spiders - HOOD was held in check in week one putting up only 16 but with Sofia looking like they have a CP hangover they'll get going here...58-23.

Chocolate Blaze vs. Manhattan Midnight Warriors - I like this early season game as both showed some defensive prowess but both combined to put up only 14 points. Something has to give here or does it. I'm using my coin toss and it favors the Warriors...17-13.

DOT OF THE WEEK
QB Kwaz "Ray" Lucas, Riverhead Rampage
The dot had only five carries but busted out an impressive 215.5 yards (43.1 ypc) with three TD's. The only thing that actually stopped the dot was the end zone.

Uh, guess not.

Week two was a little different than the tight games of the opening week. This week winning teams averaged 40.5 ppg while the losing teams netted just 7.7 ppg. Speaking of nets and hoops a little praise to my house guest who's NBA predictions have netted me some cash over the finals. Now, back to dotball. I figured the league structure would dampen the forums with only 12 teams and low and behold my prediction holds true.

Misc. Note/s
54 still going strong in survivor.

Dot of the Week
K K Blaze, Chocolate Blaze. Blaze scored all his teams points in a 12-7 win over MMW. Blaze hit on FG's of 36, 35, 35, and 27.5 yards to nab the dot of the week honors.

GLB Rankings
9. Detroit Muscle (23190)
10. Bier Markt (23184)
12. Uh Oh! HOOD gone (23154)
21. DIABLOW CIRCLES (23087)
52. Running Gag (22867)
57. Her Majesty's Dragons (22808)
72. Riverhead Rampage (22724)
154. Sofia Spiders (22518)
159. Hoodzilla . (22504)
179. Chocolate Blaze (2465)
218. Twin Peaks (2401)
253. Manhattan Midnight Warriors (2359)

BB's Top Four
1. Bier Markt - cruising along but we'll see if they're for real as the HOOD would like to knock them off the pedistal they sit (good luck).
2. HOOD - The Buffalo Bills of the East (at least the Bills got to the championship game but you get what I'm doing) could move up with a W over BM and have looked solid to date. OMG, I have HOOD over the Muscle - will someone complain?!!!
3. Detroit Muscle - Knocked off Gag and as I said last season this is one of the hotter teams around...look out.
4. Gag - one loss but a multi defending champion and only two losses since coming up in the CP ranks.

WEEk 3
Hoodzilla . vs. Running Gag - It may have taken a week but Gag looked the part of the defending champs in dismantling the Rampage (who I thought may pull the upset here). Zilla's had it struggles early on and they'll continue this week as Gag wins going aways...59-10.

Twin Peaks vs. Detroit Muscle - Peaks have struggeled giving up a league high in TD's and yards allowed. Usually Peaks forum is active with Rube and when its not TP struggles. When will there be a Rube sighting. It may not matter as the Muscle want some friendly payback to the ole Rube...38-27.

Riverhead Rampage vs. DIABLOW CIRCLES - The Rampage have been a thorn in my side starting last season so I expect this will be another version of a hard fought game and since I'm not picking against myself I think we'll eek out a close one...27-24.

Bier Markt vs. Uh Oh! HOOD gone Casual - I'm not even going to bother to check the last time the HOOD beat BM in the regular season - we'll just say it's been "many moons." With BM still working out some SP's and VP's I imagine this will be a close one but BM will still get the W...27-23.

Manhattan Midnight Warriors vs. Her Majesty's Dragons - Dragons didn't show much bark in the game against BM last week but they need to do that against a Warrior team looking for an upset. I think MMW will have to keep looking as HMD recovers from a flat performance...31-10.

Sofia Spiders vs. Chocolate Blaze - Blaze have shown a stout D only giving up a total of 23 points in the first two games. That won't matter as they'll get plenty of O in this one against a Spider team giving up over 50 ppg...38-24.

Not much time and even shorter before kickoff tonight but just to get one in the books.

Running Gag vs. Twin Peaks - Has TP packed it in on the season. The start may indicate it and the end result may be proof in the pudding...56-10.

Detroit Muscle vs. DIABLOW CIRCLES - Detroit toppled the CIRLCES at the end of last season but come on GLB gimme a little break. Only one team in the West will have zero losses and it will be the Cirles...17-14.

Hoodzilla . vs. Riverhead Rampage - Rampage out to seek some redemption after a three point loss and Zilla is just the whipping boy. Look for RR to run wild and away from Hood...38-17.

Manhattan Midnight Warriors vs. Bier Markt - Warriors, come out and plaaaay. BM Matchup

Chocolate Blaze vs. Uh Oh! HOOD gone Casual - Too much on the ground for the HOOD as they'll get by a feisty Chocalate D...31-10.

Her Majesty's Dragons vs. Sofia Spiders - HMD in an easy one...41-10.

Was on the short end last week but I'm out of town for work and we like to work into the wee hours for most of the week.

SURVIVOR
13 of 51 were eliminated this week thanks in large part to Hoodzilla's victory over Riverhead. That game accounted for nine of the 13 and two people picked the CIRCLES to loose (no14mike and home field advantage). You two got your 15 minutes of fame and I will say I'm glad I knocked (or my dots) you out.

Still a lot of agents left in the field.

DOT OF THE WEEK

RB Eddie Myers™, Uh Oh! HOOD gone Casual. Eddie helped carry his team to a 31-24 OT victory over the Chocolate Blaze. Big Ed carried the ball 19 times for 190 yards and a TD in the win.

League Rankings
9. Bier Markt (3,270)
13. DIABLOW CIRCLES (3,226
29. Detroit Muscle (3,021)
37. Her Majesty's Dragons (2,975)
41. Running Gag (2,918)
44. Uh Oh! HOOD gone Casual (2,898)
120. Hoodzilla . (2,531)
128. Chocolate Blaze (2,505)
155. Riverhead Rampage (2,430)
162. Manhattan Midnight Warriors (2,401)
273. Sofia Spiders (2,243)
277. Twin Peaks (2235)

WEEK 5

Twin Peaks vs. Hoodzilla . - Peaks have been knocked out and I don't see them getting back up. They may throw a jab but the thunderous power shots of season ago is long gone. Zilla gets a freebie here to continue that win streak...48-20.

DIABLOW CIRCLES vs. Running Gag - Well hell, my most hated team in the league just because I can't seem to beat them. We'll give it another go and hope the GLB Gods give us a favor or 10. We won't gaurantee it but the CIRCLES will win here...27-26 (missed PAT - thank you GLB Gods).

Riverhead Rampage vs. Detroit Muscle - The Muscle have been at the forefront of stopping the all rushing teams and they'll be tested. The only test may be if they can keep the turnovers in check. They will and they'll get the win here...31-17.

Bier Markt vs. Chocolate Blaze - Blaze coming off a tough OT loss and limping into face BM isn't the best thing to be doing. BM's O continues to roll while the D limits the opponents...27-3.

Uh Oh! HOOD gone Casual vs. Her Majesty's Dragons - The Dragons O has been more productive than the HOOD at this point but I think those tables turn in this one and HOOD will come out with the win in a tight one...31-24.

Sofia Spiders vs. Manhattan Midnight Warriors - The bright spot will be one of these teams will get that first win of the season. I'll reach into my pocket and the coin says the Warriors..34-10.

So bottom 2 from each conf go down, do they automatically go to RPe1? or do the get scattered?

And what 4 come up, top 2 from RPe1 or the title game contenders from 1 and 2?
