What this means for World League next season: ONLY the top 10 teams will stay in World League in to start season 48, and ONLY the winners of the two National Pro Leagues will promote to World League. World League will truly be only the best of the best.

What this means for World League in season 48 and beyond: The winners of the four National Pro leagues will be promoted to World League, and the top 8 teams in World League will stay, while the bottom two from each conference will be demoted back to National Pro.

My guess is as good as yours as to what all this means. not sure what makes you top ten or top 8. LOLranks? do playoffs matter? reg season finish?
Boozer ranks? Albarsh ranks?? if you finish with an 8 seed in WL and win the ring do you get demoted? do you have to play a million lolrankedscimms?

this has probly been discussed but i was absent that day

anyway, chem becomes a larger factor, cares, teams like hogs and dirty sanchez probly go down, maybe the big orgs only keep one team up. Especially since you have to win pro to get back. Maybe some of the big orgs all go to pro and the game dies. The Consequences of demoting increase exponentially. If the big orgs go to pro the cares decrease exponentially as well.

maybe the orgs have all the WL teams and the game dies, idk

maybe new teams rule WL and Pro, and the Orgs die? idk

i'll pick 5 to stay up from each league, using my own criteria, since i have no idea of what concrete things need to be done to be considered top 5

Odessa
- still the team to beat in all the land. will still win with average chem (90ish). one hand tied behind their back, probly dont even know the new structure

Miami- they are a quality team that seem to adapt to whatever the circumstances. something tells me miami will end up doing enough to stay up (and could win the Ring)

OPT - another team that will do enough to stay up imo, usually have a solid reg season and a few playoff wins

BlueNosers - the only pro advance im going to pick. depends on what bolick and those guys have left. All the players are bolicks and Dprides. i havent seen Vanna open his fatt yapp in here for a while, besides a few lame multi posts from whoever is running those players, but i know the real thing quite well and its not here. either way, welcome back to World League, please raise the bar if you have any skillz left

MidgitHogs - im not seeing the merge with midgits as a plus, more a 'i dont want to recruit anymore' move by wise. however, a million cares over there, and a million plus now with the merge. they have a tendency to fuck up games they should win though, alot of them. might be costly this time around

Indy - indy hasnt touched their offense for 3 seasons. now ya know. they are carried by dot builders and farlig's defense. but there's a new sherriff in town, he's drunk and guns loaded. and they'll stay up no matter what mess he makes, on pure dot talent and 100 chem

MG - morning glory has established that they can dominate WL reg season. since i dont know how teams will stay up, seems likely MG will. Also 100 chem.

Carthage - low chem and an oddly low player value (1344) with a few to boost. maybe took a hit for big bro idk. returning champs

graz - not much has changed there, if dISA was gonna destroy WL it wouldve happened last year. but 100 chem and a solid returning roster keeps them up imo

Dirty Sanchez - smoke and mirrors, beastly dots, fat and old, bad chem. they still end up winning and losing games they shouldnt

Nice ranks. I messaged support *again* on how the top 5 teams will be picked.

I can't really argue with the Alpha ranks. Not sure if 9 teams will make the playoffs (bold prediction), but besides that pretty solid.

On Chicago as someone who gets intimate with our roster pretty regularly, I am very confident the merged roster is a step up on both sides of the ball. Early chem is gonna be a bitch though, and I'm gonna miss the best recFB in GLB (Wise Weapon http://glb.warriorgeneral.com/game/player.pl?player_id=4461260) who has been replace with my horribly made FB. But besides that, very promising!

Btw the Graz pick is pretty bold if they stick to their 0/22 pass heavy gameplan from the playoffs last year. They do have a strong rushing attack to give teams fits who aren't ready though, and a lot of pro promotes tend to not be ready for how run heavy WL is so perhaps...

Graz made it to the conference championship in WL last season so not sure it's that bold of a pick to think they would be in the top 5 of the conference this season as well

pretty much meaning pro promotes. no offense intended, but with the pending GLB structural changes, Id have to pick a new WL team to finish in the top 5 in their conference. id have to go back and look but iirc it doesnt happen that often. once or maybe twice every few seasons.

none of the new (non ranked) WL teams have not really emerged yet in preseason. not really beating anybody. Besides a few scattered early losses, none have beaten indy, brazil, odessa, carthage, burnside, morning glory, miami, graz, ATKM, hogmidgits, nomad nation or oakland.

but a few teams to watch out for imo, they'll need a win or 2 over top teams and will have to just about sweep the 3 thru 8 ranked vets. and beat all the new teams

probly the best shot of these 3 at contending. no losses in preseson, beat odessa in lolgame -4. but no pro ring last season makes me skeptical

benitos will beat some teams, and have gotten consistantly better each of the last few seasons since leaving WL. Always rooting for my SLAP brothers

-Miami- 1-1 i still like miami at #2 dispite loss to nomads. nomads will beat some teams, miami has pretty bad chem but need to get some of these early games

OPT - 2-0 holding steady at #3, odessa, miami, and blunosers in next 5 games

BlueNosers - 2-0 look very solid, legit win over carthage. Not quite ready to move them up yet but stock skyrocketing.

AI Sometimes 2-0 not sure im ready to put them in the top 5, but a couple of wins and only giving up 3pts a game i have no choice. we'll see what happens when they play some of the big Boyz

i think the hogs are done TBH. The only thing that may save them is that they pull off some great stuff at the end of the season sometimes. they'll need it this year

Indy - 1-1, loss to morning glory isnt a shocker, this is a tough conference this year imo. gonna be a battle all season

MG - 2-0 not ready to put them ahead of indy yet.games coming up vs graz and ATKM. i have no doubt they'll finish around the top of Zeta, but they're going to have to win in the playoffs now (alledgedly)


graz - 2-0 gonna move them to #3 for now. 2 solid wins vs good teams in a tough coference. Big game vs MG in 2 weeks

Carthage - 1-1 S47 champs will be fine imo, took an early loss but i dont think anybody is going undefeated in zeta this season

burnside 2-0 2 really good wins to start, against teams that beat Hogs and Mice, look good in scrimms. carthage , indy and Graz in the next four games

Dirty Sanchez -1-1 i think they are in for a tough season. already out of the tourney, havnt looked good in scrimms. smoke and mirrors only goes so far. and i have to concentrate on indy this season. Dc has his own WL team as well (Nomads). chem isnt helping. still gonna be a team nobody wants to play

oakland 1-1 WTF? im out of survivor. I won't forget that every time i post ranks this season i'm a big oakland fan but i needed some freee flex

I think he's referring to your chances of staying up. You still have a solid chance of making the playoffs in Alpha but you won't be in the WL next season.

Fun fact, Hedgehogs are 4-1 all-time in the 1st round of the WL playoffs (all in the last 10 WL seasons). That, combined with Nex being a beastly DC, and our chem being fully healed for the playoffs, means I doubt there are any teams that would love to play the Hedgehog Mafia in Rd1. Win Rd1 and you make WL for next season. EZ.

But keep pretending you know stuff I guess bolick.

Meanwhile I'd like to win 1 game and go from there.
