Alright, with all the clamoring about getting the East done I'll take a few minutes as the Badgers beat up on Northwester. I will admit upon first look I let out a little shudder at what may lay ahead this season and what the league is starting to turn into. I say by the end of this year (say December) they'll be only a handful of teams that have full rosters, not CPU teams, and not littered with old dots. I know I skipped building my full team this season due to namegate. I expect these to go like last season in only a few people reading so you know I have no intention to keep going when that happens.

1. Her Majesty's Dragons
Dots Returning: 38/1395.7
Season 45 Record: 16-0
The Dragons breezed through the regular season last year before finally getting stopped by BM. BM may have caught them off guard with the offensive game plan but tricks won't work this year against a Dragon team ready to get back to the title game. Dragons are just one year removed from the championship but for this team that's an eternity.

2. Bier Markt

Dots Returning: 37/1367.75
Season 45 Record: 14-2
BM got back to the title game after a long hiatus and will look to keep that streak alive. With the new look of the East expect BM to maintain its standing as one of the leagues top teams.

3. Uh Oh! HOOD gone Casual
Dots Returning: 35/1450.63
Season 45 Record: 14-2
BM, DIABLO, DIABLO, HMD, HMD, and DIABLO present the list of teams HOOD has lost to in the playoffs since season 40. Usually one of the top teams in the East HOOD has never made it to the CP title game and this season would seem as good as any to peak over the mountain. While the overall construction of the conference may be down it will come down to this team beating an achilles in HDM and BM. It's not an impossible task and we'll see if the HOOD is up to the challenge.

Uh, now its like throwing dart on how the teams will end up so don't get overly offended.

4. The LEGION'S Alpha Quadrant
Dots Returning: 44/1376.14
Season 45 Record: 7-9
AQ was on the cusp of the playoffs last season but dropped a couple heading down the home stretch that they needed to win. This season will be much different as they should easily improve upon the seven wins of last season to push to a possible home playoff game.

5. Dexter's Dark Passengers
Dots Returning: 45/1351.19
Season 45 Record: 6-10
Another East vet from last season who came up shy on the playoffs. New season - new expectations. I do expect DDP to push for a possible top four finish with three or four other teams that have come out of the woodwork in search for CP glory. DDP had a few bad losses last season and we'll see if a season behind them will show some improvement.

6. Chocolate Blaze
Dots Returning: 46/1403.52
Season 45 Record: 4-12
There's going to be some new teams crashing the East playoff party and what better team to throw in the six hole than a team that played in the West and went 4-12. Several teams will be taking advantage of the downhill turn in CP and look for the Blaze to get into the playoffs and possible make some noise - I don't know how loud the noise will be but they'll make some.

7. Midwest Mafia
Dots Returning: 53/1240.21
Season 45 Record: 11-5 (RP1)
It's been a long while since the Mafia last graced CP (season 37). Midwest went 5-11 during that season but I expect them to be one of the better East up and comers on the season. I look for Midwest to easily to eclipse the five wins previously here and make a run for the playoffs. Welcome back.

8. Camelot Red Knights
Dots Returning: 49/1352.47
Season 45 Record: 16-0 (RP2)
The Knights return with a 20 game win streak in tow but as they know from season 44 and the four wins they got this isn't RP. Well, it very well may be with many of the teams they dominated sitting below them in this ranking. This team could certainly rise up a few spots if they manage to beat the teams who they should and pull off an upset or two along the way but they should be in the playoffs unless all the wheels fall off.

9. Wonkas' Candy Corps
Season 45 Record: 12-2 (RP)
Not really sure what to make of the team but compared to others they are not littered with CPU dots, don't have first or second season decline dots, and have positions filled throughout the roster. Sadly, that's likely enough to have this team push for a playoff spot. Probably to early to tell but we'll see if the Candy Corps are up to the task at hand in just pushing teams for a playoff spot.

10. Heisenberg Full Measures
Dots Returning: 49/1401.26
Season 45 Record: 15-1 (RP2)
They're a bit old with seven dots starting that dreaded first season decline. I'll be the first to say this maybe too low for the team as they made short work of WCC last season but let's see some games played before I appoint them then next coming.

11. Orange Creek Outlaws
Dots Returning: 40/1295.86
Season 45 Record: 9-7 (RP)
Was last up in CP in season 43 where they went 1-15. This season should be better in the win column but the roster has a little work left as they have some CPU dots out there.

12. Nicaragua Chupacabras

Season 45 Record: 12-4 (RP)
Needs a little work on the roster yet but plenty of time left in the off season. May be hard pressed on the season to turn it something into a success but they'll be better than several teams in the league.

13. OffTopica Prayer
Season 45 Record: 13-3 (RP)
The roster is littered with some 500 and even a few 600+ day old dots. That doesn't spell a lot of wins as this team will have to fight to stave off elimination.

14. Springfield Rifles

Season 45 Record: 10-6
Cool name and I have a M1A myself (two actually). The fact is the team doesn't have many dots and the only cool thing will the opponents racking up some monster stats against this team.

15. Cypress Creek Scorpios
Season 45 Record: 12-4 (RP)
With only seven dots on the roster not in the CPU variety this team will be like a Christmas tree - lit up.

16. The Underground Superstars
Dots Returning: 54/1009.93
Season 45 Record: 11-5 (RP)
The team returns 54 dots but having unboosted dots is just going to make this team get beat and beat badly as 20 levels is simply too much to overcome. This may be the first unboosted team to make it to CP so they have some history going but history won't win games.

Welcome to season 46 of Casual Pro. As you can see I've not gone back to the website yet as I'm not motivated to do so yet. We have an interesting makeup in Casual Pro this season and I for one am a little concerned at how the league looks. A lot of teams with CPU filled rosters, older dots, and just teams that should not be in the Pro ranks. The spirit of competition will be tested as we have less and less teams filling up our ranks. There does seem to be several teams in RP that will stay together and join us next season. Time will tell but as a self appointed Swami of prediction we'll be done before this calendar year is up. For those new welcome and good luck as it will be a task to beat some of the established teams.

A few reminders first:
-Owners, get your team signed up to the GLB tourney.
-Owner, agents, and everyone in between don't forget about GLB Survivor (I should get a tattoo on my forehead).
-Those who signed up to Sugar's tourney don't forget to get those games in.

BB's TOP FIVE

1. Running Gag - champs coming off a season of little to no resistance.
2. Her Majesty's Dragons - looking to get back into the title game after a season hiatus.
3. Bier Markt - coming off a silver in the GLB tourney and having lost to Gag in the title game.
4. Twin Peaks - witih Ruby's transgender surgery a success she's ready to make GLB history and break that 0-2 title game record.
5. Uh Oh! HOOD gone Casual - looking to crash the HMD and BM party.

WEEK ONE PICKS

In the big question of who's greater we get week one and East v. West. My bet is saying the West will run away with this title this season.

Sin City Dream Team vs. Camelot Red Knights - Both teams looking to make a solid impression in the opening week. Tough to pin your hopes of the season in week one but I think its an important game for both teams. That 20 game win streak disappears pretty quick as the Dream Team will get the win here...24-23.

Dexter's Dark Passengers vs. Off In The Bathtub (A.D.D) - Could very well be an entertaining game but I got DDP needing to show they belong in the discussion in the East. They'll get this one late in what could be the game of the week...34-31.

Detroit Muscle vs. Bier Markt - When you have two evenly matched teams the chemistry Gods will swoop down and make themselves known (and that won't be a good thing for the Muscle). BM will pull away late...38-21.

Cypress Creek Scorpios vs. Werewolves of Dublin - I have the feeling Dublin will make short work of the Scorpios...77-0.

B. O. S. S. vs. The LEGION'S Alpha Quadrant - Has some solid potential according to my rankings but I think B.O.S.S. will be two strong and flex some West muscle in route to a convincing win...38-10.

Twin Peaks vs. Orange Creek Outlaws - Rube's irked Bruce Jenner is getting the headline but so all know Rube's transgender surgery was a success. Name change to Ruby forthcoming. Look for the Peakets to win easily in the opening week...77-3.

Hawaiian Tropics vs. Wonkas' Candy Corps - My toss up of the week says the Tropics...17-13.

Nicaragua Chupacabras vs. Running Gag - Gag will go for over 1,000 rushing yards and business as usual for the defending champs...255-0.

Her Majesty's Dragons vs. YOU'RE DEAD TO ME - With his focus on the tourney Sugar will get blindsided here as HMD is hungrey and TO ME is in the way (DEAD IS DEAD)...34-17.

San Onofre Isotopes vs. Uh Oh! HOOD gone Casual - Two top teams square off and one thing about the HOOD is they are one of the top regular season teams around and they'll show that O here...34-24.

Hotties Pride vs. Chocolate Blaze - I like the Blaze and the experience they have to knock the new kid on the block off but it won't be by a lot...38-24.

OffTopica Prayer vs. DIABLOW DOTS - Prayer is just running with some older dots and that will give them some problems against my team...77-0.

Midwest Mafia vs. River City Wildcats - The Mafia had to like seeing the first game against a CPU opponent to get one on the scoreboard early...77-0.

Springfield Rifles vs. Austin Longhorns - Springfield won't be firing a lot of rounds down range and the Longhorns will easily here...77-0.

The Underground Superstars vs. Gotham City Rogues - You'll hear me talk about non-boosted a lot this season and being 20 down to most teams is going to make for a long year as the Rogues get the first CP win...77-0.

The Bus Drivers vs. Heisenberg Full Measures - The Bus Drivers just can't afford to stumble out of the gates and I don't suspect they'll look past HFM and win going away 45-6.

GL all - reap it.

BREAKING NEWS

As much as he wants to say he doesn't care and didn't try when he loses to you or he ran game plan 55(C) in his loss to you he just couldn't stay away.

http://glb.warriorgeneral.com/game/team.pl?team_id=1099

What a tool.

He should have listened to Donk and kept the DOTS here - they would have made the playoffs in the East.
